"Wir buchten 2 Schlafzimmer, bekamen aber nur 1 Schlafzimmer. Dadurch war es nur durch Aufbau eines zusätzlichen Bettes für das 8 jährige Kind möglich die Wohnung zu nutzen. Es wart nicht möglich das Wohnzimmer nach 21 Uhr zu nutzen ( Fernseher,Radio ,Internet) ,da das Kind drin schlafen mußte. "Beautiful l, spacious and comfortable apartment above Piazza Costello with a beautiful view of Lake Maggiore. Apartment is a bit difficult to locate. Parking is limited and distant. Once we arrived at the apartment, our trip was most enjoyable. "

"Beautifull, well equiped appartement with a great view over Lago Maggiore. A good place to visit the surroundings, a boattrip to Cannobio is a must. But don’t forget Tronzano and Pino Lago Maggiore, nice places with good alimentari. The owner is nice, helpfull and quickly responds."

Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! "

"Tolle Wohnung, sauber, groß und ruhig. Fantastischer Blick über den Lago Maggiore.Einziger Nachteil ist die Zufahrt zur Wohnung über eine sehr schmale, kurvige Straße. Mit unserem VW Bus war eine Kurve sehr kritisch, weshalb wir unser Auto unten im Dorf abgestellt haben und jeden Tag zu Fuß zum Dorf bzw. zur Wohnung hochgelaufen sind (dauert 10-15 min.)"

"The USP of this property is the amazing view down to Lago di Lugano across into Switzerland. There is also the interesting story about the old funicular railway to the rear of the hotel which closed in 1977 but may be refurbished and reinstated if funds can be secured. It is a rural location, about 20 mins walk from the nearby town of Lanzo d'Intelvi and the bus service from Como drops you about 400m from the hotel reception if you aren't driving. Rooms were not air conditioned but you do get a oscillating fan! Get a room with a view and you won't be disappointed "

"We stayed at this hotel as part of our honeymoon and it was incredible. We were given an amazing room with a small balcony and incredible views of the lake. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, booking a taxi for us when we checked out to take us to the train station.
