Wonderful Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Meson. The room was great and very well located. The staff was right there for anything we needed and Oscar is a wealth of information about the area. I will be back to this hotel when I travel to SMA.

This charming boutique hotel has exceeded my already high expectations. It’s is beautiful, so much attention to detail. My room was huge and very comfortable with vintage style furnishings. The views of San Miguel de Allende are are stunning! It’s a short walk down the hill to the centre of town. I walked back up the hill easily, but there is a bus / taxis. Oscar is lovely and so helpful from the moment I arrived until I departed.

Very basic rooms

Unfortunately I struggle to understand the excellent reviews on this place. I had really high hopes, after reading the fantastic reviews, but it definitely didn't live up to expectations. The location was good, although uphill, and the staff were helpful but that's about it. The rooms were basic, no hairdryer or tea/coffee making as advertised. Bed was very hard and the shower took a long time to get hot. The place was also noisy with traffic and noise of other people talking.

El lugar se encuentra bien, lamentablemente el no contar con A/C, es un inconveniente. La ubicaciòn es complicada, porque se encuentra en una zona alta (si desea caminar).

El lugar es pequeño pero perfecto, inpecable, la verdad el personal y la chica que te recibe super amables, atentos, simplemente excelente lugar, limpieza inpecable, cama super cómoda limpia, muy rica la verdad. No pongo 5 estrellas, porque el lugar no tiene estacionamiento propio en el lugar, hay que pagar una pensión de autos que está a unos 400 metros del lugar la cuota por noche es de $300 y se termina hasta las 2:00 PM. Si son personas mayores les recomiendo soliciten habitación en la planta baja ya que las habitaciones superiores hay que subir por escalera de caracol.

El personal muy amable y buena onda, el hotel muy bonito, la habitación cómoda, al principio parecía que la habitación no estaba lista pero al final la estancia fue muy agradable;) solo se escucha mucho ruido por la noche pero en recepción tienen tapones de oídos
