We have a 2 night minimum stay Except for June - August where there is a 7 night minimum and check-in & out only on Sundays

On the Beach front. Ocean views from almost every room. Vehicles are allowed to drive on the beach, but no atv's, thank goodness! High speed Internet, spa, fireplace, gas BBQ, large wood BBQ, large deck, patios, Flat screens TVs in every bedroom and living room, two recliners, two fold-outs, one king, one queen, 1 double. There are 3 bedrooms. One is large with a king bed and a fold-out with attached full bath. The other two have a queen and a double. They are very small and are separated by a wall and a door (not a hallway). Those in the double bed have direct access to a half bath. Those in the queen bed can privately access the full bath near the kitchen by going around a few feet outside. There are two and a half bathrooms. Washer/dryer, off street parking for three regular size vehicles.

Weekend stay

Our family had a great time staying at the Sanddollar! A fun beach house with awesome views of the ocean and the sand right outside the back door! We used the fire pit overlooking the ocean each night! The hot tub was nice to take a soak in too! The house is well loved with a lot of necessary beach items. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back!

You want a place RIGHT on the beach where you can watch your kids play in the water while sipping wine on the deck then this is it! It is Very well equipped with all the necessities of home! Just bring sunscreen!! It may not be the latest modern architecture but you’ll love it! And did I say it’s dog friendly!!

Real beach cottage

Family get together in this cottage at the beach, the sand is lovely and soft, perfect for little ones to build and dig. The distance from the public area allows family privacy. The house is an old fashioned cottage in the sand. Summery and fun for all. Good location.

Cozy beachfront cabin

Great place to unwind with plenty of space for our family of six and a dog! Step out on a sand, enjoy smores by the firepit on top of the dune, surf, run, or fish - it's all there. The cabin is dated, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beach access parking lot a building over might be a nuisance, but didn't bother us much - with a sound of the surf overwhelming any noise coming from there.

Awesome Beach Bungalow!

We are pretty spoiled since we own a lux beach house in Costa Rica, but we LOVED Nell's beach house. It is nothing grand or fancy, but cute, cozy, and so close to the surf it is nearly buried in dunes. Location couldn't be better, 100 steps from the main vehicle entrance to the beach. Perfect getaway for a couple or a couple with 2 kids. The master bedroom is great, although the two other bedrooms are tiny and one is accessed from the other. Loved the big fireplace inside and firepit outside. Wish we could have stayed for a few seasons not just a few days...

Beautiful location and amazing host

The location of the house is absolutely gorgeous and the house has so much character. The pictures do not do it justice! Short drive to nearby beach cities and local grocery stores. The house is outdated, but other than that we had an excellent stay and Nell is very helpful. It should be noted that the hot tub is shared between the two houses. We came during a storm so we were not able to use it. Some extra check in details would be helpful for new guests. We would love to come back when the weather is nicer! Thank you very much for having us.

Enjoyed the property except the 3rd bedroom was not a fit for our group. 80 year olds that need more privacy than walking through the adjoining bedroom. Also too difficult as the beds were against the wall so you would have to climb over each other. One of the couples opted to go get a hotel room.

Amazing property and views!

Our family enjoyed the property. We were very satisfied with everything. The jacuzzi was very outdated but we were able to still use. The views of the beach ocean and sunset were breathtaking. The property owner welcomed us when we got there. A lot of towels, a lot of seating areas and everything was so clean. We enjoyed the fire pit and watching those driving up to the dunes. Our pets approved the place. Near by stores. Minutes away from the pier and monarch camp of hwy 1 from the house. The breeze from outside was enough to keep the house cool. The BBQ slow burners hard to cook a lot of meat. We had lots of fun staying at the property. Two parking spot for the property and the property was adorable. We will certainly be recommending the place to our friends and family. We will definitely be coming back.

Picture ad obviously paint a better picture than actual. The place was dirty and there was some "stuff" not sure what it was but really gross, may have been dried up puke that was on one of the beds that made it impossible to sleep on. When i spoke with the property manager about it there was no response. I understand that Im just another renter, but its my only family vacation for us all year and its only 4 days. Other issues: everything in the place is older, there was rust in the freezer, bathtub was very dirty with black discoloring on a caulk. Every corner in the house had dust or dirt. Great view but the window were dirty. I'm sure I'm wrong but when you lose confidence in the cleanliness, you lose confidence in anything in the cabinets being out of date or dirty. The silverware when we looked close had black stuff on the forks. We tried to book another place the first night but everything in town was booked. Basically slept in sleeping beds and my son slept on the couch. Won't be staying there again. Sad, because the place, if properly taken care of, had the potential to be a great place,

Another Stay at Nell’s

I think this was our 5th time of renting this Beach house! We absolutely love it there. Our grandchildren are 8 and 5 now and enjoy the sand right outside of the deck. We have two Labrador Retrievers that have come with us every time. So we don’t have to leave any family members behind. The fire pit is also a family favorite. Some-mores just have to be made! We will come back again and again as long as Nell allows us to!!!
