"We were blown away by this property. The room was cozy and comfortable with a sizable outdoor balcony with the most incredible views. We enjoyed walking in the nature preserve and that we didn’t even have to leave the property to have that experience of being in the cloud forest. We saw all sorts of birds, plus coatis, agoutis, and monkeys! The breakfast was delicious and we appreciated the emphasis on farm to table, which you could definitely taste the freshness in the food! Staff was always welcoming and available to answer questions. "

"Phenomenal views from the room. The hot tub in the room was a super luxurious touch, with a great view of the volcano. Staff couldn’t have been more gracious and friendly. Special shout out to Randall and Leonardo at the front desk, and Gabriel in the restaurant. The breakfast were delicious!"

" We stayed in the honeymoon suite and the room had one of the most spectacular view I’ve ever seen in Costa Rica. The room was clean and very spacious, with modern sinks, toilet, and showers. The bed was very comfortable, true to other reviews. Food at the resort is very good, though cocktails were a little disappointing for the price. Make sure you take the offered jungle hike and wear decent sneakers or hiking boots. It is absolutely gorgeous and we had fun for a couple of hours taking in every trail we could (don’t worry, there are shortcut trails too). We were frequently amazed that even on the trails that somewhere forty years ago, people put in all those pavers and tables and chairs in the woods! The front desk/reception has a whole book of tours you can sign up for including horseback riding and rafting, etc. We only stayed a couple of days so we just took in and enjoyed the property, hiked a lot, used the pool table, and stared at the magnificent scenery. For people who want to get away from it all for a few days, this is a great place to do so. "

"Amazing staff and absolutely delicious breakfast!! Property was well maintained and welcoming, and the fireplace was lovely in the evening. The rooms are cozy, with spacious modern bathrooms, warm water, and good pressure, which was especially wonderful after a long day of activities. There is limited storage for clothing, just 2 small benches and a few hooks - fine for a solo traveler but could get a bit crowded with 2 people. Special thanks to Jocelyn and Diego for making excellent tour recommendations and coordinating everything, including transportation. They were incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make my stay perfect! Can't wait to return. "
