This property is stunningly beautiful our room was lovely and very clean. We were only disappointed that we couldn’t use the hot tub because they charged 90 euros for 1.5 hours per person to use the spa. The hot tub was outside of the spa and we were really looking forward to using it after 6 busy travel days in the major cities. The weather was to cool to use the unheated pool so a quick soak in a hot tub would have been great but not worth 180 euros That is our only complaint everything else was wonderful.

Our stay at Mormoraia was truly unforgettable. Our patio and room faced the city of San Gimignano and it was breathtaking. The food was incredible (the truffle pasta was my go-to each night). We did the lunch + wine tasting and were so glad we decided to do it. I cannot recommend Mormoraia enough - we will definitely be back!

It is a beautiful property, but unfortunately we didn’t feel very welcomed by most of the staff. The only person who made us feel truly welcomed was the one who checked us in. During dinner service, the staff seemed overwhelmed and inexperienced, resulting in long wait times and a lack of warmth. Because of this, we decided to dine elsewhere after the first night.

We loved the friendliness and hospitality of the staff! The attention to detail and service was amazing. Julia especially went out of her way to make our stay and wine tour special. What a tranquil and special place! This was the highlight of our Italy tour and we would absolutely stay here again.

Stället var mysigt men dem hade el laddare till bilen som, bara kunde laddas på dagtid och inte övernattande. Till frukost stod personalen och pressade apelsin juice till vissa kunder men när vi ville beställa så var svaret att det inte gick att fås eller beställas till frukost.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist einmalig, absolut idyllisch und ruhig mit einem wundervollen Blick und schönem Pool. Das Personal war immer freundlich, das Essen sehr lecker und die Ausstattung auch gut. Allerdings hat es für den Preis aus unserer Sicht an Kleinigkeiten gemangelt - unsere Buchungen für Aktivitäten wurden ständig verschoben, sodass wir sie am Ende zT nicht nutzen konnten, obwohl es ein Geburtstagsgeschenk sein sollte. Das Servicepersonal braucht evtl. nochmal eine Schulung für den Service beim Essen. Und beim Buchen sollte man genau darauf achten, welches Zimmer man bekommt - unseres war direkt bei der Rezeption und extrem hellhörig, mit extrem kleiner Dusche..nicht ganz was man evtl. aufgrund der Fotos erwartet. Das WLAN könnte stabiler sein. Wie gesagt alles Kleinigkeiten aber für den Preis sind es genau die, die den Aufenthalt noch runder gemacht hätten :-)

Mormoraia gave a feeling of understated luxury and we absolutely loved the experience. The bathroom stank quite a bit but we stayed only for 2 nights and were able to ignore the issue. I also wish the front desk staff were a bit more friendly - everyone at the restaurant (which we visited 4 times) was wonderful.
