"Our family of four with our dog had a relaxing three day stay at Joshua’s beautifully appointed cabin. Great communication with our host, all the comforts of home, and a visit from the resident peahen- who waited to be fed birdseed Joshua so thoughtfully provided! The air conditioners in the living room and master bedroom were much appreciated during the unusually warm afternoons of our stay. Gorgeous views of pine forested mountains, and many hiking trails within a short drive made this a perfect break for our family. Thank you, Joshua, we hope to be back! "

The downstairs area was spacious and felt like its own cabin, complete with a living room and kitchenette. Our kids chose to forgo the bunk beds and turned that space into a fort where they all slept together. They absolutely loved having their own little area, and the adults enjoyed the roomy living room, fireplace, and large picture windows, providing a great retreat after a day of snow activities and hiking.Another highlight was the cabin's location; it was within walking distance to a charming village, which we appreciated as we aimed to avoid the car during our vacation.The owners were incredibly responsive and provided us with helpful information, especially regarding the snowy conditions. They reached out when we faced issues with the VBRO site, showing their commitment to ensuring we had a great stay.I highly recommend this cabin for multiple families, family reunions, or anyone who enjoys having space."

Heidi clearly defined the rules of the home, and was responsive to our questions. Although there was no air conditioning, with the breeze and fans going, we were able to keep the rooms cool. "The non functioning ait condtioning in a couple of the upstair bedrooms was disappointing. The air conditioning in the main floor area worked well. Otherwise the facility met our needs. It has a spcious kitchen for meal prepations. The gathering areas were spacious, nicely furnishe, and comfortable. The bunk room had comfortable and large sleeping areas."
