Liked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
We were so looking forward to this booking. The property description says it is in a loud neighborhood. It definitely is, located directly across from the Double Deuce nightclub. Loud music and arguments just outside of the very old windows from Tuesday to Saturday. Due to airline issues, we did not arrive until after Midnight our time. I was unable to find any check-in instructions on Expedia or VRBO other than door codes. The hosts encouraged us to do "check-in" procedures. There were none that I could find. It was easy to contact the host through the Expedia message tab, but we could not send pictures, and they would not respond to texts sent to the provided number. The air conditioner was in celcuis but kept the place frigid. The beds were comfortable and clean with fresh sheets. The shower floor was sticky, so I bought cleaner and cleaned it. After that, it was fine. We were provided with only 3 large towels and 2 small towels for a 7-day stay for three people. Unhygienic for sure. We finally got 3 more towels on day 5 of our stay. Honestly, what pissed me off was that every time you went to pee, you were looking at a washer-dryer combo we weren't allowed to use. When messaging the host, we were told: "It is not included in the property amenities or on the website." Therefore, we had to go to a coin-operated laundry. The faux wood flooring was dirty and you had to wear socks the whole time. I refused to clean that. Overall I guess the place was OK, not 5 stars.
