About this property

The BEST of the best on Mission Bay!

  • Come join us for the best of the best on the sand in Mission Beach. Our beach house has unobstructed views of Mission Bay and you can enjoy the nightly summmer fireworks show from the large private deck.

    The master bedroom (aka Captain's Quarters) has a comfy California king bed and a bathroom with a shower, jacuzzi tub, bidet and walk in closet.

    There are two more bedrooms down the hall, the Crew's Quarters with a comfy queen bed and the Mermaid room with a comfy queen bed. Off the hall are both a guest bathroom and a full bathroom.

    The kitchen is a cooks dream with a panoramic view of the water and all the amenities you will need, including built in appliances.

    We are located just down the sidewalk from the Catamaran Resort where the Bahia Belle and William D Evans (both sternwheelers) dock nightly. This property is right on Sail Bay across from The Aquatic Center! There is a private elevator that services this property. We also provide a laundy room with a washer and dryer.

The kitchen is more than equipped, the view is amazing. The pictures online don’t really do it justice. It’s located perfectly between the bay and the beach wonderful restaurants within a block. I can’t say enough about this place. The bay is calm and swimmable. Looking forward to our future third trip back!

We had a great time and Susie was an awesome host. Great location close to bars restaurants and all the amenities near by. Beach was five minutes away but we also enjoyed the beautiful quiet bay.

Relax on the bay

Susie was a great host; she was easy to contact and provided clear instructions. Her home was so tranquil and restful with a beautiful deck, kitchen and living room facing the bay. The shared space was so well planned with a lot of different places to sit and relax and enjoy the view. Will definitely look to stay here again.

We had an excellent stay here. Here are some of the highlights: -Great communication from the host -Beautiful deck looking at the bay (our favorite spot!) -Great location: walking distance to PB, plenty of restaurants. Easy access to the bus with a 25 min ride to Old Town -Parking for two cars -Thoughtful touches (games, amazingly stocked kitchen, beach toys and chairs, umbrella and sun shade)

Beautiful Sunrise

We enjoyed our stay on Sail Bay. We loved having coffee in the mornings while watching the sunrise. This location is walkable to many restaurants. It was a very quiet and peaceful place to stay.

Perfect location

The terrace has the most beautiful view. It was so nice to just relax and look at the birds, the boats, the walkers. The third floor gives quite a bit of privacy, too. This is a very well run property. We would definitely stay again.

Breathtaking Bayside Home

We absolutely loved the home! It was so beautiful from the moment you opened the front door and saw an incredible view of the bay. Everything was very clean and welcoming. The best place we have stayed at so far at Mission Beach/Bay. The view was fantastic! Things that made it extra sweet were a very well-stocked kitchen, great location, bathtub to bathe toddlers, elevator, pack-n-play, beach chairs umbrella and ice chest if needed. Susie was very helpful and responsive.

Bayside views

Second stay here, love the views from deck/patio : morning sunshine and evening sunsets, fireworks at night! Stayed a different week this year and lots more little kiddos around and below us so not quite as calm and relaxing on the beach below. Spent more time beachside as a result. Love this place and being on the bay .

This was a great property with a great view and a great location. It was well stocked with what you need. The beds were comfortable. The host was polite and thorough and quick to respond with any questions that we had. The elevator was a great thing to have when you had to take your luggage up or Groceries. This property is perfect. It is right on the bay and the deck is the perfect spot for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Susie was a wonderful host. The house is clean, very well organized, and has everything you need. When we got in, we ordered grocery delivery and were set for the week. We will definitely stay again!

Cannot say enough good things about this property

The property is a third floor unit overlooking the beautiful Mission Bay. It is perfectly located within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants. It backs up to a large bayside beach and is only a block away from the ocean. The unit is very spacious, very clean, and has all amenities you could ever need. The owner, Susie, is super responsive and courteous. It was a perfect vacation!
