Perfect beach vacation

We love this home. It's well cared for and managers are responsive. It's perfect for two couples or a family with teens. We return every 6 months to enjoy the home and the ocean views

Great visit to San Diego

We had a wonderful stay here. It was a beautiful space and beautiful beach location. There are wonderful restaurants and coffee shops a few blocks away. It was central to so many places we visited in San Diego. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Exceeded Expectations

The best vacation rental I have ever stayed in. The location, the equipment, the cleanliness, everything exceeded my already high expectations. From the first contact with the property, I felt very comfortable and very accompanied in the booking process. I had to book at the last minute due to an unforeseen cancellation and they helped me to make everything perfect. I will definitely rent again on my next visit to San Diego.

Great vacation

My wife and I stayed in this home for over a month, and it was a fantastic experience! The house offers a stunning ocean view and is situated in a lovely, pleasant neighborhood. We were surrounded by friendly and interesting people, with a great beach and boardwalk nearby. The house itself was fully equipped with all the amenities we needed, including comfortable beds, adjustable air conditioning and heating, and well-functioning appliances. The support team was always available and helped us promptly with any questions. We are truly grateful for such a warm and welcoming stay!

San Diego mini-break

Always a great place to stay. Love the neighborhood and love the ease of an excess to San Diego sites! Plenty of coffee shops and bakeries within walking distance. The property is very well cared for and the management team did a great job. Sit on the terrace and watch the waves. Highly recommend

Fantastic all around!!!

We had a blast. The house was clean and roomy. The upstairs area was great. The kitchen was fully stocked. All basics provided for in each room. Porch was amazing and the beach was so close. We loved this place and wished we could’ve stayed longer.

This 2BR property is perfect. Super clean and comfortable with modern amenities.

The indirect dimmable ceiling lighting is perfect to set whatever mood you want. TVs in every room, quality appliances and nice little design features everywhere. Love having a garage and a nice patio and balcony with ocean views. We'll definitely be back.

Mission Beach Comfort

House is lovely. Well stocked and well maintained.Very roomy and comfortable for guests. Great location close to the ocean. Small garage size made parking challenging, but possible. I would rent again when on Mission Beach.

Perfect Location for Family Trip!

My family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 5-9) had the BEST time staying at this house. Communication was excellent - any questions I had were answered almost immediately via text message. The location was amazing - so close to the beach, and also a short drive to all the places we visited (zoo, La Jolla, aquarium, etc). The beds were super comfortable and we appreciated the amenities provided (towels, beach chairs, etc). Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in San Diego!

Amazing!!!

I wish we could have stayed a whole week. The view is amazing and the house is so cute. It really was perfect. We will 100% be back. Walking instance to restaurants and lots of cute stores. Literally steps from the beach and you can see the ocean from the front window and balconies. The pictures are exactly how it looks. Love love loved it!

5 Stars All The Way

This place was perfect for us. Steps from the beach, within walking distance of Belmont Park, restaurants, and with a beach wagon you can even make a reasonable trip to the Ralphs. It’s also really great there are two different living spaces. We had two families here and it was kind of nice for everyone (especially the 3 and 7 year old) to occasionally have some distance to do their own things. The upstairs and downstairs really give you a lot of space. We loved it.

Fantastic Home on Mission Beach

We stayed for six nights with a one year old - the house was very comfortable (beds, couches, sheets, etc.), well appointed (blender, hot water kettle, grill, beach equipment, etc.), and in a great location. You can see the ocean from balcony, it's a short walk to the bay, and close to Mission Beach restaurants & Pacific Beach restaurants. Each evening we'd walk down the boardwalk to Pacific Beach at sunset. It has a small garage (fit a Rav4, with a little room left over) which was nice to load up when it was raining. We would absolutely stay again if traveling back to Mission Beach!

Tangiers Delight

Very nice place, clean and so close to the beach. Really needed this time, because we had a death in the family right before. The only problems were that the downstairs tub drained very slowly, and the downstairs bedroom fan did not work due to the code being changed on the remote. Loved the view from upstairs balcony. Overall a very relaxing and restful time. Thanks Phil Papst

Relaxing stay at the beach

We had eyed this property previously and gave it a go this trip. We visit Mission Beach annually. management, so can't speak to that. The location is great with easy walking distance to all our favorite eateries, both in Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. This property exceeded our expectations and is our favorite so far! The furnishings were aesthetically pleasing and comfortable! The property itself was clean, quite spacious, well kept, and fantastic views, not to mention being steps from the ocean! Kitchen had all the cookware, dinnerware, and small appliances you would need to dine in. It was well supplied both with your basic household and hygiene items and all the gear needed for a day on the beach for a family. Great rental if you appreciate having the space for a little separation if traveling with others. Everything ran so smoothly that we did not have a need to contact property. I would highly recommend this property and plan to stay again!!

Great coast to coast beach vibe!

We booked this house last minute to get out of the Phoenix heat! We were already familiar with the neighborhood and were trying to stay in that general area. This home checked all of our boxes and we were so happy that we found it! It’s unique Miami design and decor were just the beginning…it was clean, had plenty of space and the location was perfect walking distance for heading to the beach or bay. It was also well stocked and included some fun things to use at the beach like chairs and boogie boards so we didn’t have to bring or buy them. Having a dedicated enclosed garage was definitely a perk since parking space is very limited at the beach! We highly recommend this property if you want the full Mission Beach experience!

Mission Beach Tangiers

seamless check-in and out with Drift Vacation Homes. Home spotless. Rented a compact Nissan Versa and it fit fine in the garage. Our Honda and Lincoln SUVs would NOT have fit and parking would have been an issue had we not rented the compact car. Great location off Mission Blvd and the ocean Boardwalk. Just across the street was the bay. wonderful TVs with Roku and cable app. All were the same which was wonderful as this can sometimes be an issue with different remotes and systems room to room. Great view from patio and kitchen table. Sticked with all we needed. We ate out and walked everywhere. 5 star dining at Moe’s on mission Blvd just a frw blocks. Nice walk to the pier.

Nice place and location

The house and location is great. The beds in the house were comfortable and it had the amenities that you need. We did have some issues as the air conditioning went out after the second day and we were there for a week. We notified the management company and they sent someone out but they couldn’t fix the problem. They did put ac units in the bedroom which was a big help. We were a little disappointed in the follow up with the management company on the state of the repairs as we always had to reach out to them to get details. The ac still wasn’t working when we left but again we did appreciate the ac units in the bedrooms.

Great location!

The house was very nice, actually bigger than we expected! It was a great location and over all we where very happy! Seems to be a nice quite area i would suggest staying at.. The cleaning could be improved, when moving certian items like the trash can it was pretty dirty around/behind... some of the dishes had dried food..but on a positive not they have everything you may need for eating at home cooking and i dont think its reasonable to expect they check every dish after every guest... over all it was clean enough for us to not cause a stink about it... The worst part was for some reason the washer had grease in it so some of our towels we washed got ruind but i truly dont think that was intentional. Just little things but we definitely had more ups than downs

Great location!

The house had plenty of space and could not beat being 3 steps away from the ocean! It was nice having 2 living rooms so the kids could play upstairs. Place was clean ( except for a little bit of sand but that close to the beach makes it acceptable). Had 4 chairs and an umbrella, beach towels and 3 boogie boards! Also had plenty of shower towels and everything we needed in the kitchen. The only thing keeping this from perfect was we specifically looked for and booked a place with central air. After we got there we found out the air had broken a week or so earlier. There were 3 portable units which made the upstairs great. The downstairs bedroom kept cool but the downstairs living room was uncomfortable in the evenings, especially after cooking dinner. It was not unbearable but a little disappointing when you specifically booked a place with central air. The owners were responsive with questions and super easy to work with. Felt like a very safe area! We would stay again!

Amazing Experience at This Hidden Gem!

Tl:dr Absolutely everything (outside of parking) exceeded expectations. Inexpensive and beautiful with beach/ocean views. Had an amazing time at this property the second week of October, 2024. Check in was the easiest thing ever with the property manager texting me all the details and following up via email. I was also allowed to check in a full hour early. It was extremely easy to find the property and it was very accessible via car or walking. My only less than perfect experience was that the garage was smaller and I had to cram my Buick in there. To be perfectly fair: This was communicated VERY clearly to me ahead of time with the instructions saying that the garage is meant for a car or small suv. Not my 3rd row Buick Enclave. So, no complaints, but just know you can fit an oversized suv in there…it’s just going to be a hassle to get it out after. The views and location were to die for. I realize we booked off season, but this was so reasonably priced that there really wasn’t anything that could compare with this property without spending at least $800/night, which is just not in my price range. Property is located ~100 feet from the sand. You also aren’t on the first row of houses along the sand, so, there was considerably less foot traffic near our house (felt like it was safer). All of your water toys are already there for you to use. House itself had great amenities, and had air conditioning units in each room. 10/10 would recommend and will use again.
