All the valet workers were extremely nice and helpful, can’t say enough good things about them. I was kind of disappointed that their restaurant wasn’t open at all. I understand that it’s because of COVID but every other restaurant in the area is open. Also, we were given incorrect info about the restaurant situation while checking in (they told us the restaurant by the pool was open the Tuesday we checked in and that the main restaurant would be open Wednesday - Sunday, when actually it was the pool restaurant open Wednesday- Sunday and the main restaurant was totally closed). Anyway, this wasn’t the biggest deal except when we called the second day to get clarification the woman I spoke to was super short and unapologetic to everything. Also part of our daily fee included a $10 credit to the bar/restaurant which I don’t know why I paid for because the first night none of those amenities were even available. I picked this hotel because we’ve stayed here before and it was great. I had an okay experience overall this time but there were just enough small annoyances that I’ll definitely be looking at other options to stay next time I’m in San Diego.
