This 2-bedroom, 2-bath bungalow sleeps 4 comfortably in two luxury king beds, with a private 26-foot SunDeck built for sunset watching, a fenced private yard, and blazing-fast 900+ Mbps WiFi. Minutes from the Zoo, Balboa Park, and Little Italy — a peaceful retreat with easy access to all of San Diego’s best.

    This home is located just minutes from San Diego’s epicenter of culture and world-class tourist attractions. There are many wonderful cafés and historical districts within walking distance and only a 10 minute walk to San Diego's light rail known as San Diego Trolley which can whisk you to Little Italy or Downtown Gaslamp district within minutes. Or North via the ‘Coaster’ connection to Encinitas and Carlsbad with their Main street shops, restaurants and beaches.

    Full private access to the home, SunDeck, and yard. Self check-in with keyless entry. Home is reached via a private stone staircase from street level — please note this if stairs are a concern. Detached garage and basement are for storage / housekeeping supplies (no guest access).

    Open-concept living with wood-beamed ceilings, a cozy fireplace, and a large sectional facing a 65” HDTV with blazing fast internet. Two king bedrooms with premium linens and quality mattresses. The living room offers an Innovation brand Sofa-sleeper plus an air mattress with integrated air pump, accommodating up to 2 additional guests for a total of 6. Full kitchen with a Kemflo water filtration system. Private fenced yard with Weber BBQ grill, quality appliances, and AC/heat year-round.

    This is a private home, not a hotel — we ask guests to treat it with care. No 24/7 on-site staff, but we respond quickly to any issue. Professional cleaning between every stay with eco-conscious products.

Great Quick Stay

Property is in a great location, generally central in relation to points of interest throughout San Diego and really close to the airport, perfect for our quick family trip. It has plenty of open space in the living areas as well, and the view from the balcony is unbeatable.

Perfect for our trip

This place has a great location, fabulous views, and some charm. When we weren’t out adventuring, it was the perfect place to recharge batteries, grab some food, and relax to the views. We will stay again.

We had a great stay.

Our host Bill was so helpful. We loved the view of the bay, and airport. It was fun to watch all the activity in our down time. The house is a great location really central to everything we wanted to see. We all recommend this house.

Friends Trip

The property is awesome. The views from the patio are amazing and the location was really convenient for everything we did in San Diego (Pacific Beach, Downtown, Padres game). Host did a great job communicating and making sure everything was perfect for the stay.

Perfect for our trip!

Location was perfect for us. We came to town to see our daughter graduate Marine boot camp. We was only 5 minutes from the base. Everything we needed was in the house.

Great stay in San Diego!

A great location for a few days in San Diego. We were touring colleges so the location was central for going anywhere in the area. The house had a ton of charm and the deck was amazing to relax each evening. Bill was checking in on us throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back again!!

1000% Would Stay Here Again

Such a beautiful property! The host was wonderful with communication and ensuring an easy check-in/check-out process. No complaints about the planes flying overhead - I actually really enjoyed watching them on the balcony! Talk about a gorgeous view!! I didn't hear a thing in the bedrooms either. I felt very safe in the neighborhood and would absolutely stay here again!

Relaxing

The reason for our visit was to attend my niece's wedding. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every bit of it. The view was something we all enjoyed both during the day and at night. The location was perfect too. It was only minutes away from the wedding venue and from the shopping areas. The whole experience was great and we would stay there again.

Great time in San Diego

We stayed here while San Diego was in the middle of a storm, luckily the house felt like home & kept us cozy throughout our stay. The view was also beautiful, being able to see how the weather changing from such a great view was awesome. Instructions for check in & check out were very clear. No complaints at all. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful Panoramic deck view

The BIGGEST plus is the viiew, WOW……and the sunsets are amazing! This is an older property and has a lot of stairs BUT well worth making those steps. Quiet neighborhood and in a perfect location near Old Town, Little Italy, and Gaslamp area. Bill was easy to work with and quickly responded to any questions.

Beautiful views

This house is centrally located in San Diego, with very easy access to the airport (including an amazing view) and many fun attractions and activities. The neighborhood is beautiful, and very walkable. Our host was very responsive during our stay and made us feel very welcome. My only issue was that on VRBO, it showed up as a 3 bedroom, but it is actually only 2 bedrooms.

Aircraft spotting paradise

Very nice place, clean, with all the amenities. But of course it’s the view and the deck that wins it over. Beautiful sunsets, nice evening breezes. If you are an aviation buff, this is an airplane spotters Paradise overlooking San Diego airport. Bring your aircraft band scanner and your binoculars! You won’t be disappointed.
