This newly remodeled, one-story home in a quiet Bay Park neighborhood, is the perfect home base for exploring all that San Diego has to offer. In the evenings, relax on the back deck and enjoy sunset views over Mission Bay, Pacific Beach, Mount Soledad, La Jolla and the Pacific Ocean. The views can be enjoyed throughout the home from the large windows that can be opened to enjoy a pleasant ocean breeze. The home has a comfortable modern beach vibe with high end furnishings from West Elm, CB2, Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, Scandinavian Designs and Living Spaces. The living room has a custom made, down stuffed, large sectional couch with linen fabric. It is so heavenly to sink into and relax. The living room also has a large picture window w/a custom motorized shade to open to enjoy the view and easy close for your privacy.

Kitchen:
A well stocked chef's kitchen with brand new Samsung appliances, Ninja Air-Fryer, chefs Knife Block, and Caphalon pots and pans. Enjoy amazing bay and ocean views from multiple rooms as well as the back deck.

Back Yard:
The back deck has a lounge area with great views, lush plants, (the owner is a chef and most plants are edible herbs. A “chefs garden”, he even planted a “mojito pot”, with key limes and mint). There is a nice new grill. A lower tier features a large artificial grass area with 2 sun loungers, umbrella and cocktail table, as well as a 6 person dining for al fresco dining. Below the deck is a concrete covered patio with access to a storage box with beach chairs, beach umbrellas, cooler, and beach toys. Off the master bedroom is a secluded succulent garden with two lounge chairs and small table.

Location and Parking:
Conveniently located just off the I-5 and less than a quarter mile from the Balboa Trolly Station. Only 1 mile to Mission Bay, and 2 miles to the beach in PB. There are two parking spots in the driveway and plenty of street parking as well. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.

Lovely stay

My family and I had a lovely time in San Diego. Anna is an exceptional host and made it so easy to be in communication with her. I accidentally left my baby monitor and she was so kind to look for and send it back to me. The home was so perfect and comfortable for our weekend stay. We loved using the backyard which had a great view. All the amenities were so nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing home

Anna’s house was the perfect place to stay for our family trip to San Diego. It was clean, updated and had everything we could need during our stay. The backyard was a great space to eat dinner and watch the kids play. The location can’t be beat; close to everything! Highly recommend staying here.

Great getaway in Mission Bay

We had a fabulous time staying 2 weeks at this wonderful rental. The property owner was responsive, helpful and proactive. The property was clean, modern and perfect for our family of five. We would absolutely stay here again! The only thing I would change/add is a microwave, otherwise this place was absolutely perfect!

SDSU Graduation Ceremony

Hosted family and friends intimate BBQ in backyard to celebrate out son's graduation. Stayed 4 nights and this was the perfect setting and location. House has lovely backyard and BBQ with tools. Lovely inside and very comfortable and clean.

Great place!

This place was amazing in so many ways. Beautifully decorated, comfy beds, many nice touches including a bidet in both bathrooms, lots of outlets to plug electronics in, robe/slippers, chef level kitchen, etc. I would have given it a 5 except for the fact that we disagreed with the owner on an issue with the blinds. They were convinced we broke them so we ended up having to pay for the repair. I would recommend this place still, but be careful to check everything is functioning before you leave.

The Perfect place!

I stayed here while visiting San Diego with my family. We had an absolutely wonderful time at the location, it was perfect and Central to everything we needed to get to and be near. The home itself is very lovely and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, the showers and bathrooms were very nice, it was a very wonderful stay. I cannot recommend this location enough, the host is very easy to talk to and figure things out with. Will definitely be trying to book this location again!

A perfect stay!

This place had absolutely everything! It's also one of the cleanest rentals I have ever rented. Everything is remodeled and new which made it so much more pleasant! A perfect getaway house and close to everything. The room with the queen bed and pull out trunk bed is a little small but overall we had an amazing time staying at this house. I had two little kiddos and they even had a blast!

Great Home in a Great Location!

My family and I stayed here for 10 days over the holidays. The location is great. The home was super cute, clean, spacious and perfect for the 5 of us. There was everything you could possibly need at the house, including robes and slippers. A special touch we weren’t expecting! We had a couple things pop-up throughout our stay but Anna was amazing and was quick to respond and come up with a game plan. We would highly recommend staying here! Thank you!

West Coast Wonderland

From the moment we walked into the house it just said be comfortable. Plenty of room towels, kitchen goods everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The big pluses were a gorgeous patio area surrounded by fresh spices, and all the play toys. The kids needed for the beach. We would definitely love to stay at this property in the future!

Incredible location and home

My family and I stayed at this house, 4 adults and 2 children, we had an amazing time. Easily fit both vehicles in the driveway. Great location and neighborhood, easy access to the trolley station. We utilized the trolley to go to old town and downtown several times during our weeklong stay. This house offered everything we could have needed to be comfortable and relax after long days at the beach or walking around exploring. Location is an easy drive to multiple beaches and great food spots. Communication was excellent and we felt very welcome in the home. I’d love to stay here again next time we are planning a vacation down in San Diego!

Choosing a VRBO home 3000 miles away is a risk, and the risk was well worth the reward 😊 The property is as advertised and then some. It truly felt like home away from home. The location was great !! Close enough to anything in San Diego but away from all the congestion. Anna was extremely responsive to any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this property . If we ever return to San Diego, I would not look for anywhere else. I would definitely stay here again 😎🏝️

WOW!

The pictures didn't fully capture this amazing property. Anna thought of just about everything (even comfy robes and slippers were available for guests). The location provided easy access to the highway and downtown. My husband, adult son, and I traveled to visit our daughter and her partner out in San Diego, along with our niece and her husband. It was a relaxing home base. The kitchen was fully stocked (although we missed having a microwave, we managed without out). The outdoor deck had amazing views of the incredible sunsets! One day we took an Uber to the Zoo (about $20-25 fare each way) when we didn't have access to a car. Anna checked in with us a couple of times, which was appreciated. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for such an incredible stay, Anna!

Everything We Wanted and More!

This house is so convenient to everything in San Diego and it had so many amenities we didn’t even expect. Our hostess was easy to communicate with, and very responsive to questions I appreciated that it was a fully stocked kitchen, including spices, condiments, foil, and plastic wrap and the biggest bonus were the fresh herbs on the back deck that we used multiple times in making delicious meals, everything was clean and bright. Plenty of bath towels in each bathroom and lots of beach towels for trips to the beach. It was an easy walk to the metro station to catch a tram to downtown and only 15 minutes to Pacific Beach and Crystal Pier. The only thing we missed was not having a microwave which was a minor inconvenience considering all the other amenities we didn’t expect. We would definitely stay here again if we get the chance to come back.

What a gem! Don’t miss this one!

This house is clean, well stocked, and in a great location. This house was great for our family visit to San Diego. We had 5 adults and there was plenty of room. I love the location. A quick drive will get you restaurants, the beach or Costco (with gas station). We didn’t have little kids with us but I noticed a porta-crib and even an emergency package of diapers on hand. One of the best things is that the listing is accurate! There isn’t a microwave. That might bother some people but we enjoyed the huge air fryer to cook up our Costco frozen breakfast sandwiches. Better than the microwave. I’ll be air frying them at home now! I’ll end this review by complimenting the host on great communication. Friendly and ready to help!
