About this property

Blue Heron Beach House - Near the Beach with a backyard and bikes!

  • Check out this beautiful designer home located just two blocks from all the action, in a family friendly, quiet neighborhood in Pacific Beach.
    This property is located just 1.5 miles from the beach and just a few blocks from Mission Bay. Walk two blocks to Garnet Ave where you will find plenty of great restaurants and other activities.
    If your interested in a burger and beer, you must check out a local favorite, Rocky's, located just a few blocks away. It is a small bar that takes only cash, but if you can get in, the burgers are worth it!
    Sea World is just 2 miles away as well.

    This 4 bedroom 3 bath house has an open bottom level layout so when you are cooking in the gourmet kitchen you won't miss out on any of the action. The kitchen is fully equipped with high end appliances and all the utensils needed to cook any meal. There is 1 bedroom downstairs with 2 twin beds and one full bathroom. The rest of the bedrooms, 2 Jetted Bathtubs and laundry room are located upstairs.
    The fully fenced backyard offers a private deck above the garage with plenty of patio furniture for everyone to relax and take in some sun. There is also a gas BBQ grill available. Boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs and beach cruiser bikes are available for guests.

    This house even has air conditioning!!

Property was perfect for our family of 8. Very well stocked in the kitchen and plenty of space to eat inside and out. We really enjoyed it and just wish we would have had more time to enjoy the other amenities like the bikes and the proximity to the beach.

We had such a great time staying in this beautiful home in the heart of PB. The home is beautiful and clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed riding bikes to the beach and sitting out on the deck above the garage! The host was very responsive to our questions about checking in. We would definitely stay here again!

Great spot in PB

Great overall rental in the middle of Pacific Beach. Restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and beaches are all close. Great spot for a little getaway.

A Great to Stay!

We absolutely loved this house! It was an easy drive to any place we wanted to go in San Diego. It's in walking distance to the beach and many delicious restaurants. The house is beautiful, and we all really enjoyed our stay!

Incredible Short term Rental

This place was a great weekend home, extremely clean, and accommodating. They had everything you could need in the kitchen and for the beach. The location is fantastic as well. Will absolutely be back to this property when we come again.

Great location for July 4th activities at the Bay. Loved the decks and outdoor places to relax. Awesome large kitchen and dining area where we could all gather. We had a great time!

Amazing stay

Our stay here was perfect. We were given really detailed instructions of the place and everything we needed to know. It was very close to the beach and they had beach chairs, towels and umbrellas to use. The kitchen was well equipped if you're looking to cook and the bedrooms were all great sizes. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Place

The Blue Heron was great and well located for an event at Mission Bay Crown Point Shores. Having the use of the Cruiser Bikes to get to Crown Point or Pacific Beach was great fun.

Great house!

We visited our son in the military stationed out in San Diego. We wanted a home away from home for our family to enjoy Thanksgiving. This house was beautiful, clean, well stocked, and in a great location. Easy check in process and manager was responsive to our questions. Would highly recommend this home! Daughter's Graduation

Wonderful home for my adult children and family to come together to celebrate my daughter's graduation from SDSU. Safe neighborhood, 25 minute walk to beach, beach cruisers were fun. Mission Bay is a great place to bike along the beach. Highly recommend.

Crown Jewel in Crown Point

This property was fantastic. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The outdoor space was welcoming and you could feel the breeze all day long. Everything about the house was just right. As far as a base of operations for visiting San Diego I'm not sure anywhere else would be more convenient. Walk over to the bars and restaurants, yes. Hit the ocean beach, yep. Stroll over to the bay, sure. Just a 15 minute or so drive up to Torrey Pines for a round of golf, 20 minutes to the ballpark for a Padres game. Overall, this location is great and the owners have set up the space for fun with friends or a family getaway.

Beach House Beauty

My family took a last a minute trip to San Diego since our Maui trip was cancelled due to the fires. The host was so understanding and empathetic to our situation that she allowed us to come a day early and check in early in the morning. The house was beautiful, comfortable, clean and in a great location. Even through our disappointments with not being able to travel to MAUI, this vacation spot turned out to be an incredible trip. We used the reference sheet for places to eat that was left for us, booked golf and a spa day and found some cute places to shop. I am so grateful to the management team for turning our vacation into one we will all remember. My kids all loved this house & vacation and the fact that we were safe, and all together made this another trip for the books! I highly recommend staying at this Beach House Beauty if you are in Pacific Beach!

Great Family House with some minor issues and misstated amenitites.

We enjoyed a family gathering at this house. We were disappointed that the 4th bed room with twin beds was actually a flimsy cot for the fourth adult couple! The 3rd bedroom was so small there was no room for side table on each bed and the couple had to turn sideways to make their way to the closet. We felt like the master bedroom was oversized and square footage taken from the master could have made the other rooms more comfortable. Also we discovered there was no dishwasher pods or papertowels. Finally, 2 of the 4 bikes were unusable. 1 bike had a flat tire and the other bike had a broken peddle. This was a major selling point so it was disappointing to discover. Good location and very clean.

When we walked up to the front of the home, the air was fragrant from the beautiful flowers. A nice grassy area out front for our grandson to play too. The Blue Heron is spacious, clean, open and airy. Lots of local shopping in the area and the neighborhood is quiet. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again!

We had such a wonderful time at this adorable home in Pacific Beach! Everything was very clean, the host was great in providing all the information needed when checking in. The kitchen is huge, rooms are great sized. zero complaints whatsoever!

The home was beautiful, very clean, updated and an excellent location. We loved the outdoor space, the bikes and the kitchen had everything our large family needed. So nice that they had what we needed to get started and during our stay like trash bags, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper and paper towels.They had a high chair and pack and play for our grand daughter. The communication was excellent with the management and owner. It’s one of the best rentals I have personally ever rented.
