"Got in from San Antonio around 11:30 there was a line 2 couples ahead of me waited for 15 minutes finally someone came up. When it was my turn he had an attitude said I didn’t have a reservation even after I showed him my confirmation. I was tired and just wanted to go to sleep. He finally found the 2 rooms but claimed it was my fault he couldn’t find it. He really made my experience an awful one. I never had that type of experience in the past. "

"Clean room and very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and communicated well throughout the visit. The pool area is a great place to relax. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would definitely stay here again. "

"Don't waste your money. There's nothing "resort" about this place. It took 55 minutes to get checked in and, mind you, it's not yet the busy period. Two staff were checking in with several waiting. Check in staff also serve as the hotel store staff - the people checking in before us wanted to purchase something so that adds 15 min. They advertised an "all inclusive" package of drink and food coupons for $50/day/person. We added it and had to wait 20 mins so the manager could "enter the coupons" on the stay. We made this same purchase at the Hilton next door before and were immediately given the coupons wat check in, so why advertise if it's not ready to offer. The room was okay - not great, not terrible. The air conditioner made a loud, long noise every 5 minutes. We had no towels in the restroom to shower with and when we tried to call reception, the phone didn't have a direct line or directions on how to contact reception. I called from my cell phone hung up after it rang for 4 minutes. I went downstairs and got in line to request towels. I was told there's no direct line to reception - we had to call in, but there's no information saying this on the phone or in the room. Two outlets near the bed did not work. The pool is NOT a resort pool or as shown online - it's tiny. The patio and back deck are the only nice parts. If all you care about is beach access, it's a good stay. If you expect a nice experience, don't bother. Disappointed we chose this for our birthday stay."

"Hotel was nice and clean, though you can tell it’s starting to age. Pillows were way too soft! Breakfast buffet was ok. Would have loved to have bacon and grits as an option. And also some cut up fruit. There was an option of a whole orange and banana though. Their “Quiet Hours” are from 9pm-8am. Pool and jacuzzi doesn’t open until 9am, which to me, is late when on vacation! If Quiet hours is until 8am, why not open the pool and jacuzzi up at 8am?! Though 9pm is too early to close also. I think 11pm would have been perfect, but 10pm would have been fair! Our room had a partial beach view. It was facing the ocean but the bar downstairs was blocking some of the view. I was a little upset that they wouldn’t extend my reservation an extra hour since we lost an hour because of the time change. Paid 400+ a night for two nights, a week before Spring Break officially started. Check in wasn’t until 4pm and check out was at 11am. "
