"Staff not very helpful to address defficiencies , remote not working . TV not working . Needed to turn off a/C so it could work a few hours, pillows thin as paper, housekeeping is extremely noisy at very early morning hours over all hotel needs renovations..pool was always dirty bugs and debris floating around"

"First impressions was not great! When I arrived I was told to leave and get cash out of the ATM form a gas station two blocks away for my room deposit. (Which was not mentioned in the discrimination online) I had to pay a $7 resort fee and a 5$ ATM fee to get the key to the room I paid for during booking. Once I got in the room I immediately noticed a broken leg on the desk that was cracked, a civilization of dust bunnies on the fan. Then, when you turn the fan on you can see the dust flying off. The face plates were missing in certain places and the Hot Tub water handle had a stack brown clay all around it to prevent leaks. To top it off, I got two towels really dirty after a beach outing and they changed me $40 dollars out of my $100 deposit. Never staying there again!"

"When we first arrived the A/C didn’t work . We sat in the heat for about 3hrs until we realized it was broken . The front desk was very helpful to accommodate and fixed the ac . However , we purposely selected a room with a fridge and microwave. But our microwave was broken and did not work . Also, our shower head sprayed water onto the side of the shower and anything you left on the counter top got soaked ."

"This is our second time staying here. The hotel is affordable, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms have been clean during both visits. The biggest issue this time was the check-in process. Guests had to wait until exactly 3:00 PM to check in, even if rooms appeared to be ready. The lobby and waiting area were very crowded, and the check-in line was much longer than expected. We’ve been visiting South Padre Island for years and have stayed at many different hotels, but this was the first time we’ve experienced such a strict check-in policy. Unfortunately, customer service was not as welcoming as it was during our previous stay, which was disappointing. Overall, the hotel has its positives, but based on this experience, we’re not sure if we’ll choose to stay here again."
