"I booked this hotel based on the fairly positive ratings and reviews. This is an old property, it was previously a La Quinta. We unfortunately had many issues with our room. We booked an oceanfront room. Upon arrival the air conditioner in the room was so loud it woke us up from sleep everytime the compressor came on, also the ceiling fan over the bed was on at high speed and there was no way to turn it off. We also had a leak from the ceiling in the bathroom that was causing the counter to be constantly wet. The next morning I went to the front desk to complain about these issues. I wasted half of my day getting these issues taken care of. They did replace the air conditioner and found out that the switch for the fan was behind the bedroom furniture on the wall making it unaccessible to customers they did turn it off, however. The next morning there continued to be even more water leaking through the ceiling in the bathroom. I did have to go complain about this again and was actually relocated to another room which wasted another half day of my vacation. This property is in a very good location with many restaurants and bars close by. The breakfast offered at the hotel is very good with an omelette station. This could be a great hotel if it was a remodeled and refurbished. Maintenance has not been done on this property at all. It was very disappointing to have to waste so much of my time at the beach taking care of maintenance issues with my room."

"Almost everythtng was good. Our room was supposed to have a pool view, and we were assigned a room in a corner, no pool view at all, only a wall. Staff was nice though. Towels were not the cleanest and rough. One towel had hair stuck on the fibers. Plus, the extra bed had a large bleach stain on the bedspread."

"Classy hood shelter! A poorly remodeled ghetto if you will. No towels, wash clothes or anything in the room. The hot tub was cold and dirty. The shower shot all the way across the bathroom with the nozzle sticking out of a hole in the wall. It was remodeled but you can tell it was done by a cheap contractor with a complete lack of detail. A dirty place trying half ass to be clean. Decent for the price but I’d recommend paying a little more for a nicer place."
