"I see a lot of negative reviews posted about this property, but we have always found it to be a great option for those frequent weekends when everything within easy reach of Salinas/Monterey is overpriced. This property is consistently clean and comfortable, with a modest price tag for the area. We haven't had time to make use of the amenities/restaurant, so I can't speak to those, but I can say that we have stayed here many times and always find it to be a clean, comfortable stay at a good value. "

"Nice property and I liked the rooms. The heaters are old and get blowing cold air when in heat. We were cold. Don't know if user error or just old. Also don't pick it for the bar. It's nice they serve the wine and beer but no one was there. We went to Daisys saloon."
