"This is a perfect boutique hotel. It is eco friendly. The hosts are happy to share information about the local area. We only had two nights here but we were made to feel right at home. The hotel was great value and the area is well worth a longer visit.

It is very dusty under and around the beds and there is a strange unpleasant smell in the cupboard under the kitchen sink. The kitchen is very modestly equipped. It says there is a dishwasher there, but there isn't.

"A great stay at Al Ponticello while on our Northern Italian trip, chose the hotel because of its location but with limited knowledge of Comacchio. It really is a hidden treasure of a town with history and a fantastic local culture.
Before arriving we were messaged by Riccardo to inform us of an event that was happening and that roads were closed. On arrival Riccardo was the most helpful and friendly person to meet. He offered local restaurant recommendations and told us what to look for in the area.
The room was very nice and quirky, we were in the eaves of the roof with low ceilings as expected but the central glass shower and round bed were very nice touches.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay to remember.

"The people on the reception were very friendly and competent. Prices at the bar were totaly ok. Our apartment in the castle was big and comfortable. Animations for the kids were every evening and the Animators did a good job. On saturday evening there was a band, who played Songs od the 80's. It was cool! All in all a well-organized host."
