"Very nice staff, booked this place very last minute! Booked 4 room like 5-10 mins before and showed up, they had the keys and room ready within 5mins! Very convenient and decent pricing. We went to Angkor bar on the beach, best food we had so far! "

"This hotel has a beautiful rooftop view of the beach and city. It was very clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was delicious and a short walk away from the beach. "
"Super friendly smiling staff. Very good room, surprised of how nice it really was.
The best hotel in sihanoukville and i have the visit 15-20 hotels here"
"It’s in a good spot and clean and safe. We stopped on our way to the islands. Would choose it again next time we pass through.
Nice walk along the beach and big shopping centres to explore. "
"We found the staff friendly courteous and attentive. The hotel foyer, breakfast area and our room was very clean and tidy and our room was made up nicely each day. The hotel has a supermarket a very short walk from it (within 50 metres of the end of the driveway). We didn’t like the fact that the advertising on Expedia and the hotels own online directory states that there was a Western restaurant on site but we were told upon enquiry that this had been closed for 2 years. We were also...
"À notre arrivée, nous voulions fuir! Tout d'abord, aucune option de "déjeuners sur demande" sauf télécharger une application pour commander. Le personnel est incapable de nous indiquer des restaurants à proximité. Communication très difficile même avec Google traduction. Des insectes et des lézards habitaient dans la chambre. Nous avons eu des serviettes trop usées pour essuyer. Terrasse mal entretenue et lait périmé dans le réfrigérateur du marché. Le seul bon point, la piscine"

Novotel Sihanoukville Holiday Resort
10/10 Excellent
"I would like to compliment Mr. Virak, who has made my stay at Novotel Sihanoukville extremely pleasant.
Mr. Virak always anticipates my needs, puts himself in my shoes, and goes the extra mile to make sure I am comfortable. His service is beyond thoughtful and truly exceptional.
On Day 1, when I needed a quiet spot for a meeting, he patiently followed me from the restaurant to the lounge and finally to the lobby—just to help me find the perfect quiet corner. He even brought me an extra table for my laptop, turned down the music, and checked in on me every hour to ensure everything was okay.
On Day 2 during breakfast, he saw me with my laptop and, knowing I needed to work, offered me a seat in a closed area for some peace and quiet. He was so attentive to every detail—asking if he should turn on the lights to reduce glare from my screen, checking if I needed anything to eat or drink, and even closing the door for me when he noticed more people walking past.
Later that evening at the beach bar, while I was working again, he noticed I hadn’t plugged in my charger. He quietly brought me an extension cord and asked if I needed to charge my laptop. That level of attention is rare.
As a trainer, I’m honestly very impressed by Mr. Virak’s dedication and attentiveness—so much so that I will be using his service as an example in my future customer service classes.
I hope this message can be passed along to him, e truly he made a lasting impression on me."

"First of all, check-in was a crap shoot; NO communication, got lucky I hitched a ride with another guest who was having same problem, still was kinda left standing during check-in, otherwise no staff existing for any issues with the room, stained pullout couch, terrible working elevators, silverware was non-existing, no china for coffee, TV wasn't working, pool had no towels and the lounge chairs were bolted stuck in a seated position, no cushions either, property was very difficult to find, google maps didn't locate accurately, neighborhood was soso with lots of abandoned real estate projects, just skeletons sitting there. Checkout again marred by absence of staff, so not even sure if I checked out correctly"
"Good location right next to the beach. Walking distance from the Golden Lions roundabout with many restaurants nearby.
However, the amenities at the hotel are very basic. Casino tables right between the lobby area and the guest elevators, are fairly distasteful. Breakfast was very disappointing compared to other hotels I’ve been to in the region "

"When we got there the airconditioning was dripping on the bed. The drainage was blocked with algae. The crockery was dirty with soup stains. The two pots were burned beyond help. Only two small towels were provided, no hand towels or kitchen towel. The mattress protector was disgusting and they took it away when they changed the bed by turning it around. The bedsheets are fake, not cotton. Overall a bad experience and we do not recommend staying here. The management simply stopped communicating with us. We bought our own hand towels and kitchen towel. "
