Overpriced, clean basic rooms with beautiful view

We only booked this hotel because it had the last available rooms during the World Cup. The rooms are basic, and clean with a strong odor of moth balls. The smell made sleeping difficult.

Would Never Stay Again

No surprise this was one of the only places with vacancies left for a late decision to attend Carnival. I pre-requested an early check-in for an overnight flight. Not only was that not granted but my room was not even ready by the stated 2pm check-in with me sitting in the lobby 2.5 hours practically begging. No guests allowed in the hotel during Carnival. Not even up to the pool even though one clown at the front desk assured me it would be no problem. Pillows are terrible. The AC in the room was leaking profusely. There was another big roof leak in the bathroom. Having been around the world and knowing the context of what to properly expect in Salvador, this place significantly underwhelmed. Pool pic is from a very disingenuous low angle that makes you think it is bigger than it is and practically connected to the beach. It is not. I would definitely recommend elsewhere.

O hotel precisa de uma reforma urgente!

Uma total decepção! O hotel está completamente abandonado, os elevadores não funcionam (chegamos a ficar SEM elevador- são 120 apartamentos), móveis sujos e quebrados, equipamentos sem manutenção com risco para os hóspedes. Funcionários cansados e desmotivados, sem uniforme, tudo muito precário. Internet não funciona no apartamento 99% do tempo. Se quiser conexão precisa ir ao lobby.

Durante nossa estadia de sete dias ficamos 5 sem água quente para tomar banho. O café da manhã tinha uma aperencia ruim, com frutas murchas e bolos velhos, além de estar sempre rodeado de mosquitos. Além disso o hotel não tem estacionamento para quem vai de carro ou aluga algum lá.

Positiv: Die Lage ist sehr gut, ideal in der Nähe sowohl zu den beiden Stränden in Barra. Der Zimmerservice ist recht schnell. Negativ: Das Hotelzimmer hat geraden das nötigste. Frigobar ist leer. Die sehr schlechte Matraze liess uns nicht besonders gut schlafen. Das Frühstück ist auch eher knapp, es fehlt v.a. frischer, natürlicher Orangensaft.

Hotel mal cuidado, infelizmente, porque o local é muito bonito. Na área do quarto do meu apartamento (411) não havia uma tomada sequer, mas apenas um emaranhado de fios ligados entre si através de fitas isolantes, causando até temor de curto circuito e incêndio. Eu tinha que escolher entre carregar o celular na tomada atrás do frigobar (que ficava desligado porque o quarto é disponibilizado sem qualquer item de bebida, lanche ou snack) ou na pia do banheiro. Chão pegajoso, característico de maresia que não é limpa com a devida frequência. Mobiliário e paredes com avarias. Cama e travesseiros sem nenhum conforto. Café da manhã acanhado.

O hotel precisava de uma reforma geral. Desde roupa de cama e banho que estão amarelados até o ruído absurdo do ar-condicionado. O quarto não tem isolamento acústico. Dá para ouvir tudo que se passa nos quartos vizinhos, corredor e até as sinalizações do elevador.

Decepção.

Atendimento da piscina péssimo. No primeiro dia comi um filé a parmegiana bom, quando solicitei no quarto estava horrível além de terem entregue com 2hs após eu haver pedido. Quando liguei para perguntar haviam esquecido e me mandaram o filé crú e o queijo não havia se quer derretido, devolvi e disseram que não fariam outro. No dia seguinte pedi na piscina uma caipirósca( com vodka) fizeram uma caipirinha com cachaça. E para fechar quando vinha embora fui almoçar pedi um frango a francesa, (no dia anterior havia jantado achei uma delícia) quando me serviram não veio o arroz com brócules como estava no menu e havia comido antes. Reclamei ao garçon que me trouxe brócules picado dentro de arroz branco. Todas as vezes se justificaram colocando a culpa em alguém e ninguém assumia a culpa ou se retratavam. Eu já havia me hospedado antes no mesmo hotel e a experiência foi muito boa, mas desta vez só decepcão. Antes havia pago um valor bem inferior e as acomodações foram perfeitas com apartamento com vista pra piscina e para o mar, havia uma tv com ótimo sinal, ar-condicionado funcionando bem. Desta vez quarto nos fundos andar com odor de baratas, não havia secador de cabelos no meu banheiro, tv sem sinal, ar condicionado velho sem potência no máximo chegou a 25°. Funcionáriis desatenciosos no trato (exceto a bahiana do café da manhã, atenciosissíma). Fora a localização do hotel, não tenho nenhum ponto positivo a destacar.

Instalaciones viejas. El hotel necesita renovación en los acabados. La limpieza era muy superficial. Estuvimos alojados una semana y nunca cambiaron las sábanas. El aire acondicionado se descompuso, no enfriaba. Personal amable pero poco proactivo. Desayuno abundante aunque no variaba. Muy buena ubicación en Barra, frente al malecón y a un paso del Faro.

A very basic hotel - book a suite and be prepared

I had expected that this wouldn't be a business class hotel and would reflect more of leisure/beach/tourist market. However, I wasn't prepared for just how basic the hotel was. Restaurant wasn't great either and pool area had only a few lounges.
