Charming hotel with very attentive and caring staff, located in the historic district of Salvador, Bahia. We were able to walk to do much of our sightseeing, shopping and dining. In the evening we enjoyed swimming in the rooftop pool with the magnificent view and watching the sunset.

Really good hotel with excellent building design and recent renovations. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant and food are top notch. The area for improvements: most staff doesn’t speak any foreign language and aren’t at the level of a Palace. The bathroom was really simple and details could be added to improve user experience, as simple as indicating which knob is hot or cold.

Outstanding restaurant. One of the best I’ve ever been to. Concierge was very helpful. Walking distance from the historic center of Salvador. Highly recommend this hotel, unless you’re looking to be by the beach

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fera. Room was luxurious, rooftop pool & bar is excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. One suggestion would be to provide option for a buffet style breakfast.

Atendimento maravilhoso do check in com a Luciana e também no restaurante com a Natasha. O quarto e confortável. Infelizmente só achei chato dessa vez que não teve buffet de café da manhã ente o só 1 dia pedi no quarto e tudo estava fresco e gostoso. A outra coisinha que achei chata foi que época de Copa e viajando com marido gringo e sem poder ver numa tv na área do bar ou até lá encima na piscina. Infelizmente a tv do quarto a imagem não estava boa. Sem sol também não é uma boa opção já que o legal é lá encima.

Mostly my stay was completely wonderful, but there was a one day delay getting my cleaned laundry back to me and it looked likely that my flight would leave before my clothes were returned to me. Although the situation was ultimately resolved there was too much back and forth - most of an afternoon including a suggestion that I should pay an extra expediting fee to get it back on time - which I would not expect from a hotel of this caliber.

Dear Richard, Thank you for let your concerns at: “Expedia”regarding your recent stay at the Fera Palace. when requesting the laundry service, you opted for the normal service, as it was a weekend, the clothes would only be delivered to the laundry on monday and with the normal service, it would only be returned on tuesday until 12pm. the option to exchange for the express service was offered to you, so that the clothes could be returned on Monday. All this information is described on the laundry voucher as shown to you. We were able to bring the clothes back to 10 am at no additional cost to you. All Fera staff thank you for choosing us. Staff was friendly and the food was really good. The pool area also was very charming and friendly. We had a eight months old and the staff was very accommodating and supportive.

The hotel has a beautiful, relaxed vibe about it, but starting to feel a little tired in parts. The rooftop pool area is a lot of fun and well served.

Great but terrible views
Very good rooms overall except for the views facing horrible buildings. I was told that they only way to get a nice view was to book the best suite. I also found the elevator annoyingly slow. I ordered a caprese salad in room service but not only the portion was too small but they didn’t even bother to add some bread with it.

Excellent hotel friendly service, theonly thing don't have is the extractor in the bathroom since windows can't open. So it's very stuffy in the rooms,excellent views from the roof and pool,thanks to all the staff!

Beautiful hotel. Room is very comfortable with lots of space, closet, and big towels. Breakfast is delicious and so is the food in the restaurant. Employees are very nice and understanding of your requests. It’s my second time staying here and I plan to stay more in the future visits to salvador.

The hotel facilities are very new and comfortable. The rooftop bar has an amazing view of the bay and a very nice pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

Highly recommended
Beautifully renovated historical building (so expected that rooms are rather small) but with all the comforts, including very good wifi everywhere. Pool area is great, and good both those who like to swim and lounge. Could have some beach umbrellas at the lounge chairs, instead of "canopy", stylish but quite useless for real shade. Excellent breakfast and generally restaurant is highly recommended; we had dinner there 2 times to try different dishes, which were all delicious (portions are not too big though).

It was a good location. Build was nice. I don’t have much to praise this place. My bed was completely wet. I completed but it continued wet the next day. Breakfast was poor.
