"✨ What a wonderful find! ✨ Could not fault one thing, I was just sad we only had one night there, but we will be going back The rooms are spotlessly clean, & most are themed as different countries, which makes for a novel stay…we were in the Paris room, but the lovely managers Debbie & Jo, allowed us to have a look at all the others, which were all equally as good They are currently working to add a restaurant & bar on site, with a couple of dining pods too, which will make this place even more special, & we can’t wait to go back to try that out The staff go above & beyond, & nothing is too much trouble. They helped us with so much local info & recommendations, which is great to hear from people who live in the area. Their enthusiasm for their jobs is unrivalled & so lovely to see The Team should definitely think about appearing on ‘Four in a Bed’ & wipe the floor with the competition (metaphorically speaking 😄) Sent some photos to a friend, & she replied saying ‘oh my goodness, it looks like Disney’ …well you can’t get much higher praise than that! Keep up the great work Team St Hilda’s, you are doing an amazing job A great big Thank You from Debbie & Jeff 😊"

"To say it was above a pub it was very quiet, the room looks like it’s just been refurbed, Room 3, new toilet, shower etc. the breakfast choice was great and quality second to none. The staff were great, there when you needed them, out of sight when you didn’t. Very homely feel and will 100% book again. The Wi-Fi dies drop out at times but I guess it’s where the property is situated and not the pubs fault. Overall 10/10 for me. Perfect spot, clean and comfortable, friendly staff and excellent food."

"An absolute pleasure to stay at this hotel. Exceptional staff in every area that we interacted with them. Excellent food. Superb breakfast & a very appealing, varied menu for other times of the day (lunch & dinner). Comfortable, functional room with pleasantly powerful shower. Wouldn’t hesitate in returning to Ellerby Country Hotel."

"Lovely property, much bigger inside than it looks from outside. Situated perfectly near the centre.Make sure you're fit if you choose to sleep on the top floor! Two lots of steep stairs. Bedrooms really spacious and bright with comfy beds. Large kitchen with plenty of space."
