Luxurious stay in the perfect location

The cottage exceeded our expectations, there is everything you need for a very comfortable and relaxing stay whatever the weather. The inside space is large, airy and uncluttered, perfect for cooking, eating, relaxing and sleeping. Lovely bedrooms, superb bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Outside provides the perfect balance of a suntrap and shade for relaxing or dining. The best grounds and swimming pool we have experienced. Sophie,Richard and their staff are charming, helpful and welcoming without interfering, we had a truly wonderful time here.

Excellent séjour ! Merci à Sophie qui a été une super hôte. Arrangeante et souriante, elle nous a permis de passer un excellent séjour entre amis pour ce week-end du nouvel an, dans ce sublime domaine qui doit être encore plus beau en saison d'été. Nous recommandons.

Très bon séjour dans un cadre splendide

Entre amis et en famille, nous avons passé une très bonne semaine en août dans le cadre somptueux du domaine et du gîte en profitant de la magnifique piscine et des environs qui recèlent de villages/visites intéressantes. Avec sa cheminée, le salon très chaleureux et les nombreux chemins de rando donnent envie de venir profiter autrement quand il fait moins chaud

Superbe!!! Wonderful

We spent a lovely 2 weeks at Chateau Villatade en Minervois. A wonderful chateau where we relaxed completely and enjoyed the beautiful pool near the vineyards. We also travelled the region with days in the mountains and caves, going to the beach (1 hour drive) and visited nice places like Carcassonne and Albi. We had to come up with really nice ideas for going out as our children preferred to stay at La Villatade :-) Sophie and Richard are lovely hosts and we love to come back one day. Superbe!!!

Fantastic Villatade

We loved our stay at Villatade and did not want to leave. Our 2 kids loved the gardens and spent hours there with Java and Bob. This allowed us time to relax and unwind also. Sophie and Denis are the perfect hosts. The villas and BnB are very well maintained and very clean. The villa well equipped and comfortable. Even the rain could not spoil it for us. The property is outside the city of Carcassone but the serenity is much appreciated. Just a short drive into town really so you can head out and see all the sights. On other days spend time to recharge your batteries, spend time in the hammocks among the olive trees and grape vines, taste some of Sophie's wine, go for walks and simply breathe in the beautiful country air! Thank you for sharing our beautiful piece of paradise with us! We would love to visit again...even if we have to fly for 26 hours from Australia!

séjour de rêve à la campagne

Situé à proximité de Carcassonne et du canal du midi le gîte que nous occupions avec nos amis nous a donné toute satisfaction : confort, silence et charme. Pour les amoureux de la nature cet hébergement est vivement recommandé . L'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires qui connaissent parfaitement leur région et ne sont pas avares de bons conseils nous a aidé à profiter pleinement de notre séjour. Nous comptons bien y retourner cet été pour profiter de la piscine naturelle située dans le grand parc à l'ombre des chataigniers et déguster les vins de la propriété. Maryse et Gérard

'grande sérénité au bout du monde'

Un endroit un peu sauvage et pas très loin de tout. Les logements sont soignés et très bien entretenu, l’accueil est exceptionnel, Sophie et Denis des hôtes discrets et pourtant tellement présents qui vous prodiguerons les meilleurs conseils.Le domaine joue les portes ouvertes et on parcoure la propriété un peu comme si on était chez soi, les petits déjeuner sont un régal, sur la terrasse, face au vignoble, vue splendide à 180° qui fait rêver. Beaucoup de très belles promenades pédestre au départ du domaine. A un jet de pierre de Carcassonne ou du canal du midi ainsi qu'à proximité de la mer .. que souhaiter de mieux! La découverte de la cave de La Villatade est un grand souvenir. Tout cela sent bon la simplicité et aussi le romanesque dans un cadre grandiose. Je recommande vivement!

Cadre magnifique, gite parfait

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans le gite face aux vignes : grand, très confort, bien aménagé, avec une déco moderne et chaleureuse et une belle terrasse avec barbecue. L'immense jardin, avec la vue sur le village d'à côté, est magnifique. C'était très appréciable de faire des grandes balades à pied, dans la nature, en partant du gîte. Nous étions deux familles avec 4 enfants; le gîte était suffisamment grand pour avoir notre indépendance (deux salles de bain). La chambre des enfants est très sympa avec des lits superposés en bois faits sur mesure. La visite au caveau vaut le détour. Bref, nous pensons déjà à revenir...
