"We had a perfect Thanksgiving stay at this Hideout home. The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed to prepare a full holiday dinner. It was the ideal, comfortable base for our family gathering.A major highlight was the kid-friendly clubhouse amenities. Our children loved the painting activities, pickleball, and the special Thanksgiving cookie decorating. The host was also wonderfully responsive and made the entire process seamless. We created great memories and highly recommend this property!"

"The condition of the home was far from pristine! Furniture including beds was subpar with insufficient comfortable seating for our group of 11!Much of the furniture was broken and unsafe!Shower doors did not close properly causing there to be water on the floor! Overall the condition of the house was not clean with spider webs and lady bugs too many to count!"

"We were 9 guests; 4 adults, 5 kids. Family Ties suited us perfectly. The proximity of the rental to the Hideout’s pool and beach were awesome - if anyone wanted to go back early, we just walked! The lower level was great for the kids to go and hang out, leaving the adults some quiet relaxation upstairs lol. The balcony was perfect for morning coffee. The kitchen comes with dishwasher, coffeemaker, and a good assortment of cooking utensils (a big thing for us as we love to cook! I brought my own chefs knife and didn’t need it.) Linens and towels all included, BUT bring your own pool towels! Now, some things that weren’t the best, but certainly not a deal breaker: we had to go hunting for a broom, finally found one in the shed out back. I almost went and bought a new one - with 5 kids and the beach, there was sand to be swept every day! Also, there was no vacuum to be found. I know, who wants to vacuum on vacation? It would have made things much easier, is all I’m saying. Both showers in the house are TINY. Again, nbd, but my husband is a bigger guy and I just would’ve liked to know beforehand. Overall, this place is a great find, and everyone was super helpful and communicative. It’s inspired us to start looking for our own vacation house in the Hideout! "

"It was a pleasant experience. Nice wooded area with your occasional friendly fauna walking by. The area had a nice public pool and lake to swim in. Plenty of restaurants in the area outside of complex. "
