"It wax a very enjoyable stay. The cottage was perfect for our needs. It was immaculately clean and well supplied. My only suggestion would be to add another mirror or 2. With 3 adults trying to shower, shave, apply makeup and do hair for a wedding, added mirrors would have been nice. But that is my only suggestion for improvement"

"We're a family (two kids and a dog) that love nature and fresh water. This vacation spot was a home run! The property is beautiful. Plenty of space to park (including my boat trailer), a bit of wooded privacy on both sides, the lake is very close to the house, the firepit and included wood was nice, and the house itself was awesome! The best was the very clean and well kept hot tub on the patio overlooking the lake. What a nice experience to watch the sun set while relaxing in the hot tub!The house was clean and had much of what you needed. Nicely stocked kitchen, water and ice in fridge, comfy beds in spacious rooms, fans and AC, washer and dryer, several smart TVs, great lighting, a pool table, fireplaces (which we didn't use), an awesome deck with a propane grill and a smoker (which we didn't use), a patio area below the deck with tables and chairs (and the hot tub), and PLENTY of space everywhere to spread out. If we needed anything, host was extremely friendly, helpful and communicative.The dock is wonderful! My kids and dog had a great time playing and swimming from it. There were several watercraft to enjoy... kayaks, a canoe, paddle board, etc. I kept my fishing boat tied up at the dock for the week as well.I was able to use a more private boat launch as owner allows a key to the launch and a map showing the many hazardous areas of Lake Henry. We love to fish and the fishing was excellent!Overall, an absolutely wonderful experience! We'll be back!"

"This property was exactly as described and pictured! It is located on a very peaceful & quiet street. It is also dog friendly which was perfect for us. The waterfront was beautiful but we were unable to use the watercraft's provided due to rain. The property manager was a delight and even left us the sweetest welcome treat! We will definitely be returning to enjoy this lake house again!"

"This was a really fun house to stay in, perfect for our group which included 3 families--parents and kids. It had all we needed.A few things were challenging: the gated community the property is located in was a pain to get into and the vibe felt weird to us. It was not easy communicating with the management company when we needed to change the roster of who was coming. The driveway was too steep and icy for my little Prius to climb when we arrived so I parked on the street, and got a ticket from the gated community for my troubles. So not a perfect weekend."
