"I must admit that when we approached the hotel we were concerned about the setting as it seemed like an apartment building in a crowded and noisy plaza. To our surprise there was good security with multiple entry locks. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, especially Blanca and Javier. The rooms were clean and in very good condition. When we commented on them, we were told that they are refreshed and repairs made during the off season. This is an excellent practice. The cooling and lighting systems were excellent. The beds were comfortable, and the room was not noisy despite the location. Javier was helpful in setting us up with a private tour of the university and cathedral. Paloma printed our boarding passes. It was a wonderful experience! I would highly recommend the facility. "

"A fantastic hotel, with excellent breakfast buffet and so close to Plaza Mayor and the main attractions in Salamanca. Very helpful staff, who solved the problem with my mattress, promptly after the first night. (They added these fluffy mattress toppers that make you sink in them and twist your body until your spine hurts --and you wake up at 3 a.m.!) Advice to other travelers: test the mattress immediately after arrival, and if the stupid mattress topper is not what you want, ask them to remedy the issue right away."
