When is the best time to go to Saladillo-Benamara?

The best time to go to Saladillo-Benamara is during the shoulder seasons of spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October). During these months, the weather is pleasantly warm and sunny, with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 25°C. This makes it ideal for enjoying the beaches, exploring the local area, and dining outdoors without the intense heat of summer. You'll find the popular beaches along the coast, such as Playa del Saladillo, are less crowded, offering a more relaxed experience. Couples often appreciate these times of year for a romantic getaway. The quieter atmosphere allows for more intimate experiences, whether it's a leisurely stroll along the Benamara beachfront or enjoying a meal at one of the many excellent chiringuitos (beach restaurants) without the summer rush. Many hotels offer better value during these periods too. For travellers looking for an active holiday, these seasons are superb for golfing at nearby courses like El Paraíso Golf Club or hiking in the foothills of the Sierra Bermeja mountains.

"While an overall nice property and pool, the lack of activities, nearby restaurants, and difficulty driving in and out made this a less-than-ideal property. We also had a studio for two, which I would not recommend for a longer stay, as the room was very small. And while we enjoyed the amenities, including the gym and sauna, the beach was not very good, rocky and difficult to walk along (plus nowhere to walk to to). If you are visiting the coast, I suggest finding a location closer to a city...

"Great experience"

METT Marbella Estepona

10/10 Excellent

"I highly recommend METT Hotel! The property is absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean, and offers a luxurious resort-like atmosphere. The staff is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. A wonderful place to stay, and I would gladly return!"

Hotel Lima - Adults Recommended

10/10 Excellent

"The Hotel Lima is located in a vibrant part of Marbella. The location is perfect to walk to many, many restaurants, bars and the ocean. The staff was outstanding. They treated us like friends and helped answer all of our questions. The room was cleaned every day including clean towels. The breakfast buffet was good but not worth the price. There were many other restaurants minutes away. Parking is challenging at this location. However, the hotel has several assigned parking spots at an underground parking structure. That location’s was safe and clean. If you’re looking for a quality, convenient hotel in Marbella, Hotel Lima is an excellent choice!"
