CANDEO HOTELS UTSUNOMIYA
Location is excellent, 5 mins from utsunomiya jr station. Bed n room is very good. Reception efficient. Onsen is modern and outside onsen is good. Bf is exvellent, however, dishes are not replaced fast enough. Food is diversified, and changes.

Itoen Hotel New Sakura
Good size rooms, booked for 2 but enough for 6 people sleeping. We stayed in South building which is old and tired. But for the price included breakfast and dinner which is very good value. Loved it. Used the private onsen in hotel for free which is amazing.

Asaya Hotel
Staff very friendly! Spend the extra money for the onsen in the room and for the buffet dinner! They are both worth every penny! We can’t wait to go back. The only downside was the bed/futon and bean pillows. The bed and pillow was uncomfortable and my husband didn’t like the futon and he sleeps ...
