Return Holiday to Sainte Marie de Re

This was our second stay With Dominique! We are a small family (2 parents & 2 young children) and we really enjoyed our second stay in this location! Its such a nice property and our kids love the pool too. Dominique is a great host and a very kind person too.

We had a lovely stay here, shared the two gites with another family. Garden was ideal with the kids and the pool was great and ideal with the fence around it. We had a bbq one night too.The location is very quiet and a small cycle to local beach or bakery in St Marie and about 15-20 mins to other nearby villages like St Martins which made exploring easy for the soutern end of the island. We rented bikes from beach bikes on a nearby campsite which is a 700 m walk away.Hosts were very friendly and accomodating once we arrived. Kitchen was clean and pretty well equipped. The gite was warm in the evenings and mosquitos prevented us from having the windows open which is something to consider. Hope to return again.

Excellent base for exploring

An excellent base a short ride from Saint Marie and on cycle paths for easy access the La Flotte, St. Martin, Le Bois Plage and beyond. The property is compact but a perfect base. The twin bedroom has low pitched ceiling so best suited to younger children. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The outdoor area was lovely and the pool was cleaned meticulously morning and evening. The host was superb, putting out bbq-ing equipment on request and even organising bed linen and towels on the day of arrival as we had overlooked that they were not included. Highly recommended

Fabulous -just as described

Just left today after a lovely week. House is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Pool is great and area quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend hiring bikes as whole island very easy to get around. Upper room is limited height for adults so better for teens/ kids room. You won’t spend much time in it though so not a problem! Dominique and Jean-Luc although very discreet were always there when needed and couldn’t do more for us. Thank you both so much. We are very grateful to you.

L’accueil des propriétaires très agréable gîte très bien agencé neuf et très propre dans un cadre de verdure très entretenu au calme la météo ne se prêtait pas pour la baignade dans la piscine dommage je recommande vraiment ce gîte très bien situé pour visiter l’île de ré nous avons adoré nos vacances ne reviendrons dans ce gîte

Kleines Cottage mit Terrasse und großem Gemeinschaftsgarten für ein paar Nächte Aufenthalt. Fußläufig keine Infrastruktur, aber alles ist schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar. Es gibt es einen sehr kleinen Esstisch und die Küchenausstattung ist etwas spartanisch. Uns fehlte ein separater Wohnraum mit gemütlicher Sitzecke bzw. eine Tür zum oberen Schlafzimmer. Dominique ist immer ansprechbar und sehr bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. Le gîte est tout à fait conforme à la description, très propre et bien équipé. La piscine a été très appréciée par nous tous. Le cadre est très agréable. Pas conçu pour 4 adultes

Très bon accueil et emplacement idéal En revanche location minimaliste (pas de placard pour ranger l’alimentation, les placards de cuisine déjà emplis par vaisselle, pas de banquette (uniquement 2 fauteuils) séjour très petit et 2ème chambre sous les toits très pentue (pas conçue pour les grandes tailles)
