"La P'tite Jeannette" vacation rental, between the countryside and the sea, on the banks of the Charente River

Between the countryside and the sea, you will be warmly welcomed in our house of character located in Saint Savinien, a magnificent little artists' village on the edge of the marshes, labelled "de Pierres et d'Eaux", two minutes walk from the shops of the city centre, 100 metres from a small Arts et essais cinema and the marina, five minutes walk from the train station. Comfortable and cosy, it offers you a beautiful view of the Charente river. Passionate about literature, music, cinema, I also like the privileged contact with nature. I decorated La P'tite Jeannette, inspired by these passions, to share it, for a weekend or a holiday, with travellers sensitive to the poetry of the place, curious to discover a rich region between land and sea.
You can enjoy all the pleasures: hiking or cycling, boat or barge sailing, visits to historical and unusual places, swimming in a summer swimming pool (supervised by lifeguards) or a miniature boat ride with your children on the island of La Grenouillette... To broaden your horizons, you are twenty minutes from Saintes, a Gallo-Roman city, about thirty minutes from the Corderie Royale de Rochefort sur Mer, Fouras and Fort Boyard, and between 30 and 50 minutes from Royan, La Rochelle, the island of Oléron, Ré or the citadel of Brouage. All local shops are 5 minutes from the house on foot, an ďart and ď essai cinema 2 minutes walk, the train station 5 minutes walk, a doctor's office and a pharmacy 5 minutes walk.
