"Hotel Monteleone was such a pleasure. So much personality and history, it is a gem. Located in the heart of the French Quarter you are 1 block from Bourbon St. Beds were very comfortable. Room was spacious and well appointed with vibrant colors - such a treat compared to the drab corporate hotels. Try the carousel bar in the lobby, super fun with high end cocktails. Also a rooftop pool and great city views."

"The room was old and worn. Curtains dirty. The rainwater seeps into the carpet. Balcony room was wack.. no view. Some man randomly barged in our room while we were asleep talking about a leak to the restaurant. Found a bug in the bed on our last day. People were arguing at the pool about country music and it became very racist. Horrible stay. Do not stay here."
