"A bit of a mixed bag, the hosts were great and welcoming. I guess as it was just out of season the advertised restaurant / bar was not in operation. A bit of a remote location and a 20 minute drive to get food in the evening. Breakfast was great and delivered with a personal touch."

"Had an Excellent Stay at this 11th Century Castle in France! The room was extremely well-furnished and was very comfortable to stay in; hotel staff were friendly and helpful, which was greatly appreciated. Castle grounds are also very beautiful. Finally, the food served was extremely delicious, had a very memorable 3-course dinner and buffet breakfast :) Highly recommended accommodation ^^"

"This place shouldn't really be classified as a hotel, it's old and decrepit, the reception when we arrived was inaccessible, we weren't given any information by email on how to access it and the lady who eventually opened the door only spoke French so we interpreted various codes to access the lift, the front door and the room. The furnishings are anything from 20-40 years old, the room was beyond basic with no air conditioning and upon leaving the window open to be able to sleep all we could...
