"Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and modern interiors. Convenient location. Only downside I think is at the evening there was just staff member working as receptionist, waiter and room service. He did well though. Overall a good experience and will definitely stay again if we visit Dunkirk."

"This is the second time we have stayed and we found it just as good as the first time, a month ago. A lovely large room overlooking the canal, very clean, the only drawback being the small , steep set of stairs to the bathroom - a bit perilous in the middle of the night! Also, as I was finishing my shower in the morning the hot water suddenly ran out. The breakfast was wonderful - fresh bread, croissants, home made yoghurt, home made jam, and a homemade custard pie! "

"Really good hotel, for the price we paid couldn’t fault it. Great to sit on the terrace with a wine and watch the golfers. Sunday and Monday evening are buffet only, so just to be aware. Would go back and use as a base to explore the area "

"A great find. Slightly difficult to find.we initially stopped at the side of the hotel and could not see it. We then drove round another kilometer and it was the furst hotel we had stopped at, but there was no name sign at the side of the hotel. That needs to be improved. The room was great with views over the river. The facilities were good especially the disabled room we had. The staff were excellent and very helpful we will stay again "

"The staff and the hotel itself were excellent. Breakfast was amazingly delicious, as was the dinner. Walking outside at the lake was very relaxing. A short drive into anywhere you want to go in Dunkirk was very easy "
