"This stay was a mixed bag for our group of 4 kids aged 6-15 and 5 adults. Our check in process was not smooth but the owner was apologetic and tried to make it right. And I feel for the owners because I am sure the issues are not so much neglect as not completing repairs after the hurricane. Still, the pictures do not reflect the current state of the home. "I've stayed at this property 8x since 2014. Love everything about it... there has been a few changes since Hilton took over. "

"The A/C did not work properly, and the room smelled of cat urine. We needed to go to the local supermarket to buy air freshener and candles as the smell was so unbearable it caused me a headed. There were cats all around the property. "

"The property was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are two restaurants on the property. We ate breakfast there every morning and the food was good enough! The beach is just steps away, we stayed on the side closest to the beach entry. They also had several nights with entertainment, we attended 2 of the nights. The entertainment was really nice! I would stay here again. Also if you decide to get a rental car, parking is free at the hotel."
