This amazing holiday home is situated in Saint-Laurent-la-Vallée, in the south of the characteristic Dordogne. It has 3 bedrooms that sleep up to 6 persons and a private covered swimming pool to take a refreshingly cool dip.

When you do not cook, restaurants serving local dishes are at 2 km. For enjoying the streetscape and shopping souvenirs, the town center is 2 km away. For a pleasant day out, you can be on the banks of the Dordogne river, which flows 12 km away. Supermarkets are 15 km away if you wish to fetch groceries for supper. Water sports opportunities are at 30 km.

The sun loungers by the pool are great to soak up in the sun before you swim. In the private furnished garden, you can enjoy delicious home-cooked meals and cozy barbecues. You can sit down reading a book, sipping coffee, or chit chatting later. Parking is available.

Fantastisch huis, heerlijk zwembad. Wel afgelegen, dichtsbijzijde dorp is op dik 2 km bergafwaarts. Wij houden hiervan en vonden dit heerlijk. Huis is van alle gemakken voorzien.

Pour commencer les points nĂ©gatifs et il y en a : - personne pour nous accueillir Ă  notre arrivĂ©e... Aucune information sur l’adresse exacte, comment les clĂ©s Ă©taient remises... Nous avons par chance trouvĂ© la maison et les clĂ©s suspendues un local ouvert. - Par ailleurs, gros point nĂ©gatif le plus grave Ă  mon sens : maison trĂšs poussiĂ©reuse, en arrivant c’était tellement sale m que certains ont eu des rĂ©actions allergiques et nous avons dĂ» nettoyer nous meme 
 ce n’est pas normal surtout pour une maison Ă  ce tarif. - Il fait une chaleur impressionnante la maison est mal isolĂ©e et pas de clim. 2 chambres sur 3 n’ont pas de volets donc difficile de dormir pour certains au petit matin. Pour le positif, l’endroit est incroyable, en pleine nature, au calme, et la maison est trĂšs belle avec une jolie piscine
 Un potentiel qui pourrait ĂȘtre bien mieux exploitĂ© ! Nous avons eu cependant la propriĂ©taire au tĂ©lĂ©phone qui est trĂšs sympathique et qui ne gĂšre pas directement le bien. Le dĂ©faut de communication semble donc venir de la sociĂ©tĂ© qui gĂšre la maison ainsi que d’Abritel ..

This is an amazing place! The large house, the wonderful pool, all the amenities and the beautifully equipped kitchen make this a perfect vacation home. But it is the surroundings that turn this place into a true paradise: views as far as the eye can see in all directions, deer, rabbits and birds casually appearing and disappearing again. Add to this the pleasant welcome, and you know that everything is there to make it a relaxing vacation. 'Live like God in France' was invented for places like this.

Honestamente, este lugar fue sĂșper cĂłmodo, Las habitaciones eran acogedoras y tuvimos mucho espacio para los seis, La piscina era agradable de tener, especialmente despuĂ©s de un largo dĂ­a, La Ășnica desventaja fue que el supermercado mĂĄs cercano estaba un poco lejos, pero nos las arreglamos, Definitivamente volverĂ­a!

Fijn huis, alles was aanwezig. Bedden waren geweldig. Zwembad was super. Sommige tuinstoelen zijn wat versleten. Maar al bij al fantastische vakantie gehad. Mooie omgeving. Lekker gewandeld. En erg mooie dorpjes in de buurt. Ik zou zeker een keer gaan kanoën. Bedankt Martin.

Bij aankomst niemand aanwezig om ons op te vangen, terwijl we de aankomst hadden aangekondigd. De code van de deurlocker waar de sleutel inzit, was verkeerd. Bij toeval konden we het huis binnen via een deur die bij toeval open gelaten was in de kelder. Het buitenmeubilair is aan vervanging toe. Onze frĂȘle dochter zakte door een houten stoel en bezeerde zich aan de houtsplinters. De houten ligbedden zijn ook niet meer in goede staat. Op zich mooi huis met voldoende ruimte. Helaas geen ventilatoren aanwezig toen we aankwamen in erge warmte. Deze zijn op ons verzoek wel gekocht (4x). Voor het zwembad moet je omlopen, via de voorkant naar de achterkant, wat onpraktisch is. Je moet dan je hapjes en drankjes op een onhandige (via trappen) manier daar krijgen . Bij het zwembad wel prachtig uitzicht en rust. Helaas 2 van de 3 parasols kapot. In de loop van de week wel een nieuwe gekregen. Er staat een BBQ onder het huis, maar er staan geen tafel en stoelen. Deze moet je dan zelf verslepen. Er is geen TV aanwezig, omdat de eigenaren vinden dat de gasten voor de rust en uitzicht komen. Dat bepaal ik liever zelf en vind het fijn als er een TV is, vooral als er EK voetbal is. Nu via laptop en hotspot naar tv gekeken. Wifi is niet onbeperkt en matig (datalimiet en traag). Slaapkamers en badkamers goed, hoewel het stopcontact in de ouderslaapkamer onafgedekt en levensgevaarlijk is. Dit is gemeld aan Marten, maar hij heeft hier niets aan gedaan. Hopelijk na ons gerepareerd ivm kleine kinderen. Al met al is het een beetje verouderd en gedateerd en aan vernieuwing toe. Op dit moment is de prijs/kwaliteit niet in orde.

Je geniet van 's ochtends vroeg tot 's avonds laat van de prachtige omgeving in deze met zorg gerenoveerde woning. Het zicht is ronduit adembenemend en in de velden rondom je kan je herten, vossen en vogels spotten. De woning is heel comfortabel ingericht en je kan er naar hartelust koken, ontspannen, genieten. Het zwembad biedt verkoeling op warme dagen en doordat de woning afgelegen ligt kan je ongestoord uren in de tuin genieten. Een aanrader!

Even moeten zoeken voor we er waren. Accommodatie ligt afgelegen, maar het huis is heel mooi, werkelijk alles is aanwezig, met heerlijk zwembad! Wij hebben heel erg genoten van de omgeving, iedere dag iets ondernomen, fietsen gehuurd, kano varen en naar prachtige dorpjes geweest . Je hebt wel echt de auto nodig voor alles.

TrĂšs agrĂ©able sĂ©jour au calme dans la campagne pĂ©rigourdine, dans une ancienne grange rĂ©novĂ©e et amĂ©nagĂ©e avec beaucoup de goĂ»t avec tout le confort moderne au sein d’un petit bourg de quelques maisons. Les chevreuils sont visibles le matin et en soirĂ©e Ă  l’orĂ©e du bois a 200 mĂštres de la maison. De belles balades trĂšs accessibles passent au pied de la maison, dont une sympathique de 15km « Les tours anglaises », et la piscine bien Ă©quipĂ©e ravit petits et grands. Les principaux sites prĂ©historiques et points d’intĂ©rĂȘt sont Ă  30-40 minutes en voiture. CĂŽtĂ© logistique, en plus de la supĂ©rette de St Laurent la VallĂ©e, BelvĂšs Ă  15 minutes en voiture propose des commerces de qualitĂ©, et un supermarchĂ© Carrefour Market est prĂ©sent Ă  Siorac Ă  20 minutes en voiture. Et si vous ne voulez pas faire la cuisine ou profiter du barbecue, de nombreux restaurants vous permettront de profiter de la gastronomie locale. En bref, la maison et sa localisation se prĂȘtent Ă  toutes vos envies de calme, de farniente, de ballades en pleine nature ou de culture!

Zeer mooie en ruime vakantiewoning met een groot zwembad waar we dan ook, vanwege de zeer warme temperaturen, veel gebruik van gemaakt hebben. Een prachtige rustige omgeving met een beetje verder de typische Franse dorpjes. We hebben genoten van de gezellige avondmarktjes met de lekkere en niet te dure foodtrucks. Zeker een aanrader.
