"Pros: liegt gut. Badezimmer sauber und modern. Nette Vermieterin mit eigenem Lebensmittel-Laden am Haus Cons: Insgesamt fehlte das gewisse Etwas, was die Wohnung dann wirklich gemütlich macht. In der Küche hätten wir zB. Eierbecher, eine Käsereibe und Schneidbrettchen mit scharfen Messer gebrauchen können. Die Heizung war aus, selbstverständlich im Hochsommer, durch die Lage am Berg ist es in der Erdgeschoss-Wohnung etwas kühl. Wer wirklich mit zehn Personen dort logiert wird für zwei Personen...

"The hotel was in a great location. Casino was across the street and many restaurants within walking distance. We found the front desk to be very helpful and friendly. If you can try to reserve the parking via the hotel. Other venues of parking are expensive. The hotel definitely has old world charm. I would stay there again when back in Montreux."

"We stayed Grand Hotel du Lac in May and enjoyed the best of Swiss hospitality. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The breakfast staff were wonderful, taking the time to describe the artisan breads and ensuring there was always a fresh platter of fruit available. The waiters and sommelier took their time to take us on a culinary menu exploration to help with our choice. The valet remembered our names, which made our stay feel even more personal and the reception staff were most welcoming. The chambermaids were excellent, providing a lovely evening turndown service that added a touch of luxury each day and making sure we have our chocolates. The hotel is a very special and charming place, where impeccable service is matched only by its breathtaking setting. Waking up to the stunning views over Lake Geneva and the Alps was truly unforgettable and a room with a view is highly recommended. This is one of those rare hotels that feels like a home away from home and will hold a special place in my heart. We can already see ourselves returning year after year. Thank you to everyone at the Grand Hotel du Lac for making our stay so memorable."
