"The apartment was in a great location, literally a stone's throw from the seafront. The apartment had everything we needed, but we did have a problem with the beds - the description said one bedroom had single beds in, the other a double. We brought bedcovers to fit these beds and has such had to buy a double set on our first day in France. I"

"Une belle maison en centre-ville à proximité des transports en commun gratuits, à 10 min en voiture de la plage de Malo-Les-Bains, 15 min de celle de Leffrinckoucke (accessible aux chiens). Logement soigné, bien équipé et spacieux pour 6 personnes. Les étages sont bien isolés du rez-de-chaussé. Stationnement aisé et gratuit. "We only have 5+ remarks for our stay! The host was terrific...nice and very responsive. The property is an oasis of beautifully manicured nature. It is a large piece of property that is secure, private and well taken care of. It was like camp for the children between being able to safely roam freely, ride provided bikes, utilize the pool/climbing structure/trampoline and more! The house is fantastic and really well built. Lots of great open space with wonderful natural light and huge windows....

"We booked our trip the day before as a last minute break. Sabine is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The gite is very close to the Belgian border and we visited several historic sites as well as a brewery tour. Would highly recommend as a base for anyone wishing to explore Passchendale, Ypres and other WW1 places of interest. Thank you Sabine, we very much enjoyed our stay."

"The house is facing the water, with a small garden at the back. Parking is plentiful. It’s really quiet but a free boat crosses the water for about 6 hours a day… there are lots of bars / restaurants on the other side. The house is beautiful - 5 bedrooms, with the top floor having 5 single beds with an en-suite shower and toilet. All rooms were large and comfortable. A good kitchen with everything you’d need for a stay. Lovely dining room/ lounge. Would really recommend for a family."

"It’s a basic property that did exactly what we needed after a 10-hour drive across France. We decided last minute to break up our journey home so booked a triple room about an hour before arriving. It was a 5 minute drive to Le Shuttle, there was a bar, and it is right by all of the food outlets so we could grab a late night bite (the hotel also seemed to have food but we didn’t try this). It’s not somewhere you would stay on a longer term basis but for a place to crash after a long journey and before embarking on the next leg, it was perfect. "
