"Aux Charmes was our stopover the night before crossing from Calais on our way home to Scotland. We have stayed in several locations whilst making our road trips and Boulogne Sur Mer has become our preferred place to enjoy a last evening on the Mainland! Aux Charmes has been a great find. "Le Flobart is a jewel of a find. Perfect, low-key and characterful. Very clean and comfortable. Windows of our room opened-out to the road below pleasantly busy with the passing locals and to a view of the sea, including the remains of the sea-fort ruins. Check-in and check-out were effortless. The long, wide and empty sandy beach is literally just across the street. We missed enjoying Le Flobart's cuisine this time, but look forward to trying it next time. For us it is the ideal off-season...
