"Ces 2 semaines ont été consacrées à la découverte du cette partie du Cantal, à vélo, lors de grandes randonnées en montagne. Nous avons savouré les spécialités du terroir. "We had the most wonderful time at this stunning property. Check-in and check-out were extremely smooth. The farmhouse has been beautifully renovated and is a unique property, in an extremely tranquil location. The surrounding countryside, villages, larger towns and (of course) the mountains were beautiful - and (in May at least) were all peaceful and quiet. Thoroughly recommended!"

"Le week-end annuel des cousinades s'est déroulé dans ce charmant hameau isolé et calme. La maison, très fonctionnelle et vaste était parfaite pour notre groupe de 17 personnes. "Gite localisé dans un hameau dans la vallée de La Maronne offrant tranquillité et une belle vue sur la vallée.La déco est ancienne mais parfaitement fonctionnelle. Le gite est bien équipé et situé. Il est sur un grand terrain clôturé (en pente mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé).Beaucoup de belle chose à voir dans le secteur dont le Puy Mary, de belle randonnée (dont le sentier d’Emilie depuis le col de Neronne offrant un paysage).Nous avons passé de bonnes vacance dans ce gite au bon rapport...

"What a stunning location and a lovely and very well equipped gite. Solange and Henri were friendly and always reacted well to questions or issues. It's an area we hadn't really visited before and we loved it - also great to have a well marked 8km dog friendly circular walk passing right outside the gite! Lots of places to visit nearby and stunning countryside."

The tourist information was solely in French as well as all instructions for the use of appliances. We highly recommend an English version, especially for the appliances, for those who have little to no French. Unfortunately, we had an issue with the owner about charges for linen and towels. The VRBO English site indicated no extra charge for this. It seems that the French site did. This is a serious oversight/problem. Beware users of the English website before you book! However, Corinne was very amenable and understanding about this issue and we resolved it amicably. Overall, the accommodation is very good. And visiting such a beautiful volcanic landscape was an unforgettable and once in a lifetime experience. Merci, Corinne. "
