"Airport shuttle facility was a great help . Location was more remote and this was just what we wanted to get away from road noise and have a good break. Location was scenic and peacefu. Food choice was extensive and excellent. We stayed 3 nights and booked 1 extra night but the confirmation of the extra night was not communicated professionally and left us wondering if it was a form booking or not , we got calls in our room that we were required to check out when infact we had paid for the extra night which left us unsettled. Did not like priority given to attendees of wedding guests over us . "

"The Verandah is excellent value in Udaipur. We booked a king size room with a balcony overlooking the lake. The views were wonderful. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was good with hot water for the shower. The restaurant was good and the breakfast including the coffee which was excellent. The location is ideal for visiting the city's key sites, many in walking distance or a short auto rickshaw drive away. It is located in an area that cars cannot access so you have to plan to use a rickshaw to reach the property. The staff were the highlight however. Pretty much everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Nimmi at reception was a particular standout. She was cheerful and helpful on every occassion. Overall highly recommend this property!"

"We stayed at The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace during our Udaipur visit and overall had a very pleasant experience. The biggest highlight is the location and architecture — a true royal palace with panoramic views of Fateh Sagar Lake and the Aravalli hills. The room was comfortable, and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. Food at the restaurant was good, especially breakfast with a wide selection. The property is maintained, though a few areas could benefit from renovation due to its age. Fitness center was under renovation, however we were able to rent a bike for a ride along the Fateh Sagar Lake, in the early morning hours, one of the best part of our Udaipur trip. Despite that, it’s an amazing place if you love heritage properties with character. Ideal for travelers looking for a calm and regal atmosphere."
