"The hotel is partly abandoned with a forgotten pool area and sharing an entrance with a slum in the worst part of town. The room was not cleaned well and the breakfast despite having good dood is located in a dungeon. I was sorry to have booked despite having a view of this secondary lake"

"A good hotel, nice clean room with aircon, TV etc. Breakfast is provided across from the hotel entrance in a restaurant overlooking the lake. A lovely setting. The breakfast was good, as was the evening meal with lots of couples eating in.No problem with the location, quiet area with transport easily obtainable. All in all excellent value for what we paid. "Our family of four spent three nights at the Hotel Aashiya Haveli! We loved it there. The location is great, in the heart of where you want to stay (Lal Ghat) and there’s a great view of the lake from the roof. The room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. Overall, it was very mellow and pleasant. Sometimes it was a little hard to find staff but that was never a big issue."

"Excellent service. Rooms were relatively cleaner than average. However there is no hot water which makes showering very uncomfortable. The shower itself also has no door so water gets all over the bathroom floor. "
