"Perfect location for my business trip to the hospital, which is a block and a half away. They only have two rooms available while they renovate the building. However, they are very well done and actually have more of an air bnb vibe than a hotel. Which is awesome for those of us who stay at way too many chain hotels for work. Decent mattress and good amenities, including a refrigerator and freezer, plus a kitchen sink. The TV in the main room could be larger; it’s 32”, a bit small for the room, but I don’t spend much time watching TV on a business trip. Restaurants well within walking distance as well. Definitely on my favorites list, will stay next time I come to Salmon! "

"Older style hotel is very clean and comfortable and located directly on the Salmon River. We stayed in a riverfront room, and enjoyed the view and opening the door to listen to the sound of the water. Large room, comfortable bed."

"This is a very cute inn with out buildings. We stayed in the Clark cabin out-building and it was very comfortable and quiet on a country property with an orchard and adjacent to a horse ranch and across the street from a state park where we spied wild horses (I think). The cabin had a mini-oven and stovetop, microwave (that was very noisy) and a refrigerator and small dining table. It is about 11 miles outside of Salmon so you'll want to get any groceries and the Save Way or other markets in town before they close. All-in-all it was a pleasant stay and we had nice neighbors staying at the Lewis cab which was attached."

John the owner was very helpful & personal when he came to greet us when we arrived:) If you need a place in Salmon .. this the place you will love to stay at! Great views of the mountains too!
