"We had a great stay at the Mackay Guesthouse at Iron Ore Reserve. Even though it was snowing and very windy during our visit, the house was warm, cozy, and comfortable, making it a perfect place to hunker down. The home was clean, well stocked, and had plenty of space for our group. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, and communication with the hosts was excellent. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it."

"The property is incorrectly listed on location according to pin on map. It’s about 30 miles north from there. It is well worth the drive though. The property is very nice inside and is fully stocked! More stocked than any place I have stayed. Very clean and host made sure I had everything I needed. Wonderful views from the house. Would stay here again. "

"So disappointed, no staff onsite. Cabin and bathrooms were very cold and unsanitary. Only linens on one bed (there is 2 beds) that had stains on them and looked like someone just slept in them. Other bed had dead flies, crumbs, dirt on it. Trash and beer bottles. Could not stay in cabin. Have contacted property about this situation and still after 4 days no response. "
