Homestay huuuuuuh???

Was it really a homestay if they have european toilets and shower plus no interaction between homeowner and guest? Also about 20 beds available for a 'homestay' and guests are served pancakes for breakfast - not the true vietnamese breakfast the family was enjoying 10 metres from us.Calling it a back to basic bed and breakfast or guesthouse would be much more accurate. The whole homestay concept is totally overrated and should be avoided. The only redeeming factor is the location and scenery of the Ta Pan area which is definitely the best SAPA has to offer.
