Charming portion of villa with pool in the hills of Verona

"The Villa was in an idyllic setting with beautiful views and property grounds, the host uses WhatsApp to communicate prior and during the stay and upkeeps the gardens and house well. The property has not only air conditioning throughout its entirety it is clean and well maintained. The kitchen and dining area in the garden is well equipped with a well thought out approach. The pool was clean and looked after and comes with a robot to help you clean it while you stay. I recommend this to all who wish a base to visit Northern Italy."

"Nice welcome! Good reception staff. But the room could be better equipped by including a kettle and coffee/tea options - the stuffs that we find in other hotels. Breakfast is average and the staff could be trained to be more welcoming (some lessons to learn from the reception staff). The ladies at the reception helped in planning our stay and the things to see/do which were helpful. Overall a good option to stay with family."

"What a gem, this is a beautiful boutique hotel within 15 minutes walking distance to Verona downhill, we taxied back! The hotel does provide a shuttle service twice daily. The views are breathtaking and the staff provide the perfect balance of warmth and professionalism. Breakfast on the veranda was a fabulous start to our day, followed by relaxing at the lovely pool, it was so peacefully quiet, the only noise was from the cicadas. Then to visit town to eat or the opera late afternoon. Especially in the heat of July it really was an idyllic escape. Thank you to all the staff, but especially Valeria, Robert and Nicholas who went out of their way to attend to our every need."

"Our hosts could not have been friendlier or more helpful. And the property was stunning, complemented by unique artwork, and we all loved the pool and outdoor dining area. Several nights we ate at San Mattia just down the road, and our host had our reservation ready the first night. The bus and uber drivers made getting into town no problem, and we loved the view from the hills. We were only able to stay four nights, but many services and opportunities were available. The chef, recommended by the owner, held a cooking class for us one night, with the best gnocchi ragout I’ve ever eaten. Several of our families also went to two wine tastings in the area, which were outstanding. Villa Nicoletta proved to be a the perfect march, and we highly recommend it."

"Quel bonheur que cette visite à Corte San Mattia ! Parfaitement proche de Vérone, avec une vue incroyable, un personnel chaleureux et attentionné (comme j’en avais rarement croisé) et du vin exceptionnel. Cuisine réconfortante, déjeuner épatant. Le tour guidé était parfait ; explications à point, planche de fromage et de charcuterie succulente, généreuse dégustation de vin. Nous avons du changer des chambres pour des raisons personnelles et cela s’est fait très simplement, avec beaucoup d’empathie et de compréhension. Nous avons quitté tôt pour l’avion et le personnel nous a proposé une boite repas déjeuner pour la route ; encore une fois, c’était délicieux, généreux et exceptionnel. C’est un must de la région, je recommande à tous !"
