"This is a 5 star cabin depending on what you are looking for… if it is a rustic, cozy, safe and warm (even in a snow storm and frigid temperatures), with some fun amenities and games on-site then it is for you. The owner has thought of a number of things, like darts and tree swings, for your entertainment. If you grew up in the rural mountains or country and want to experience something similar, this would be for you. "

"This was first time using Vrbo, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However my expectations, were far exceeded. When we first arrived, the host was extremely friendly, and noted places to go and eat. When we arrived at the cabin, it was exactly how it looks in the pictures. He, once again explained everything in detail how allof it works. The host was very informative. The cabin it self was great, and private. The only noise we heard was the water going downstream. There was a train, nearby. However we barely heard it, and didn’t affect how we slept. The cabin was extremely warm with the wood stove. The host was always there if needed but left us to be. The bathroom situation may seem, uncertain at first. But was very simple to use, and it never smelled! Overall if you want a cozy, warm , romantic, simple place to getaway. This would be the place to be. We will definitely be back. "

"My group of 8 had a great stay here at the Roosters Den on our ski trip. The house was very clean and welcoming when we arrived. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out with room for more. We took advantage of the hot tub as well as the pool table. We also utilized the kitchen daily and it was stocked up with any dish and cookware you would need. The view from the porches was awesome too. We were 10-15 minutes from Ellicottville which was a very lovely town. David was a great host and very responsive to any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a large group! "
