"The Grove was clean, modern and comfortable. Overall, we were happy with the facility and the service. That said, a few things to consider. The property does not have a resort feel. More of an apartment building vibe. We never figured out the pool - there is a nice big pool on the website but the pool in our building was a small wading pool. There was mention of a nice pool at the 'other' building but there was no mention of it to us by The Grove staff and we heard about it on the last day and never got the full story. Also, nothing against The Grove but if you plan to do anything other than walk across the street to the beach, you'll need a car, learn the bus system or be ready to shell out for taxis. Most everything you'd want to do is not walkable. "

"This is a good spot for a couple, as it has a lovely view of the sea from the lanai. My husband had had leg surgery 7 weeks prior, so we made good use of the exercise room and the pool for morning physio therapy. With a friendly smile, the groundskeeper works tirelessly to keep the property spotless. In fact, he was just one of many truly lovely people that we met during our one week stay. We do 2 Caribbean vacations each year and we think that this was possibly the friendliest atmosphere we have encountered. This includes locals and expats. Everyone wanted to make our stay the best it could be. It was a nice feeling.The little beach area was perfect for us, never having to fight for a beach chair! We never missed a sunset.Unfortunately, we had a severely windy week that cancelled our bioluminescence tour and kept us from doing as much snorkelling as we’d like, but this point is part of a marine protected area, making it a great spot for snorkelling. We got in 3 snorkels and saw a spotted eagle ray, green turtles, porcupine fish, a big mutton snapper, lionfish (unfortunately), lots of the usual reef species and stingrays on the nearby sandbar.We will be back to do more snorkeling and to get that bioluminescence tour in!"

"The rooms are very spacious & well stocked with everything you'll need. Front desk is always available for help & very knowledgeable. This hotel is centrally located. Easy walking distance to a lot and roughly 10 minutes from the airport. The breakfast included was delicious. A pretty nice menu. The ice cream shop and Spa were nice. we visited the spa twice during our stay. My favorite staff employee was Tyrone. He is probably the youngest employee, very mild mannered but great at his job. His customer service is an easy A+. Just a great place."

"The location was excellent. The beach and pool area was beautiful. Lots of starfish and even a sting ray or two were spotted right off the dock. The home was perfect for our group of 12. "
