It is located right in the heart of South Giethoorn (where all the good stuff is!), with ice cream and treats just two houses down, several restaurants very close by, and also very close to the historical sites and boat rentals. "The hotel is relatively new and, thus, all of the facilities are pretty new and modern. The people in the Hotel are very friendly, especially, Wesley (I hope I don't misspell his name) picked up my wife and me from Steenwirk train station. Although it has only a distance of one mile, it means great help if you have luggage and the taxi system is not very good in the city. You should try to call the hotel if you have luggage and they will help to pick up you. "
