  • This chalet-style log home is sitting high on over two acres of wooded lot. It has more than 3000sf of living space and approximately 1000sf of outdoor deck area all at a single level overlooking the upper Ruidoso valley and Sierra Blanca. The home is elegantly furnished with large windows in every room to enjoy the beautiful views and wildlife. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and includes granite counter-tops and stainless steel appliances. There are 3 bedrooms with King size beds and the large game room with a pool table serves as a 4th bedroom with 4 twin beds in in a built-in bunk bed configuration. The Great Room is truly great with high vaulted ceilings with a giant log at its peak supported by a rock fireplace that is surrounded by 3 tiers of windows. Adjacent to the great room is a sunroom that is encased with windows that face Sierra Blanca. This room includes a sitting area to relax and enjoy the view and a day bed with trundle to provide 2 more twin beds for extra sleeping accommodations. The large deck has plenty of seating for viewing and dining and the stairs lead down to the Hot Tub where you can soak and relax while gazing at the stars at night after a day of skiing, hiking, or simply walking while shopping in Midtown. The backyard area has 4 baskets so you can enjoy the outdoors while playing Frisbee golf or if you prefer virtual competition there are 3 big screen TVs with built-in WiFi and HDMI inputs so you can connect your gaming stations or watch Netflix. We have stayed here twice now and will definitely stay again! Nice quiet neighborhood with lots of things to do at the cabin! We love pool and foosball. Beds are comfy, I would recommend upgrading pillows but still a wonderful stay!

Perfect place to unwind

Our family got together for a few days to unwind and enjoy family time together. The bunk room was perfect for the cousins as well as the hot tub. We all loved the different animals that passed by the property throughout the day. This is a great place and we will be back!

This house is amazing! Its really easy for big families! Everything around the hpuse is pristene as well. So much wildlife walking right by. Deer, wild horses, geese, turkey, you name it we saw it. The views are breathtaking! If you have a big group this is ypur place.

Family Christmas

This was the perfect place for our family to spend time together for the holidays. The wild animals roaming around right outside the cabin were amazing and they didn’t care that we were there. We enjoyed watching them everyday.The property manager was excellent and when the dryer quit working he had a repair man there in just a couple of hours to install a new one. Excellent views, beautiful home and prompt property manager. You can’t ask for more.

Spectacular Home

Our family of two sets of twins, three teens and two adults absolutely loved our stay! The house is equipped with everything you need to make a memorable family vacation. We walked into a beautiful Christmas tree lit up and an absolutely beautiful home. The cookware and dishes were high quality the closets had plenty of soft warm cozy blankets and towels. The views were the perfect setting for morning coffee and the hot tub was a so relaxing and the perfect spot for a celebration under the beautiful New Mexico sky. We would recommend everything about this house.

Great property. Single story. Beautiful view of the Sierras! Host had a nice Christmas tree in home when we arrived. Decor is not overdone. Instead, it is very tastefully decorated. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Very close to shopping and grocery store; however, property feels remote due to its location. Have stayed in numerous properties in Ruidoso. This is our favorite property to date! Will be booking again.

1st Ruidoso Visit

Beautiful log cabin, well appointed, lovely setting. Lots of deer and turkeys walking around which we had hoped to see.Two addl minor items. The kitchen sink did not have hot water, The master sink faucet was loose. I had to juggle it to get it completely off.It was disappointing that the wifi, and TV internet were turned off on or before 7:30am, some 3.5 hours prior to our 11:00 a.m. check out. Understand being efficient and saving but that should be done at 11 a.m. or after. Would recommend and stay there again.
