Very good facility. Lots deer, elk, and wild horses. No complaints other than needed more towels and wash rags. Not many there for 3 bathrooms. Throw rugs don't lay down well and can trip. Freezer had couple canned drinks explode and was a mess. We cleaned it up, but all this is picky because we loved it and highly recommend. Just making notes for caretakers for the future of this wonderful place.
We really enjoyed our stay! Went to Ruidoso for New Years with family and a few friends, and this house had everything we needed. It’s in a great location and has tons of space! The property manager was very quick with any assistance we needed. Will definitely be back!
Very nice and clean house. We enjoyed our stay. Would have loved to stay longer.
We relaxed on the back porch and cooked out. We took walks in the neighborhood and all the neighbors were friendly.
Enjoyed the afternoon showers and watching the deer and birds all around us.
Everyone had a wonderful time.

If you like dog hair this is the place
Unfortunately not the best experience. There was dog hair all over the cabin, and when I say all over I mean it. Cleanness defiantly not a priority for this cabin. If you are planning to cook during your stay please consider taking you own dishes since the dishes there

Christmas vacation- mixed review
The location of the property was good, there was plenty of room for all six of us, and we enjoyed the Christmas decorations and lights. However, I checked in the day before my daughter and her family arrived and there were two significant issues. There was dog hair on the floor so I had to vacuum since I have a one year old grandson. I mentioned it to the property manager and she stated that the owners have a dog. Also, there was no hot water the majority of the time we were there, which is totally unacceptable by any standard, especially in the winter. The property manager said there are new owners and they replaced the hot water heater. She sent a maintenance person out four times in six days but it was never fixed and the communication between us became very tense. Although we had a wonderful time as a family, the entire situation was very stressful for me. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this property nor the property manager.
This was a great place to stay with my family to celebrate my 60th birthday. There was plenty of space for all to be comfortable. We cooked at home and found the kitchen well equipped and stocked with what we would need besides the food. The kitchen table had enough chairs for everyone to sit around. The beds were comfortable so all slept well. This place was great. Will most likely rent this place again.
Nice pleasant drive into the mountains. Very easy to find. Has everything you need as far as amenities go. I ventured down behind the house and did a little nature walk. Saw quite a few deer. I will definitely be back to stay. The bed was super comfortable!!
Clean, beautiful views, all the kitchen appliances, serving dishes, etc that you will need. The layout of the home is wide open and great for our whole family. All three rooms had king size beds and were very comfy!
We were in town for the long weekend with friends and this rental had lots of room. It was incredibly clean and well organized, with everything we needed in the kitchen. The back deck was a great place to enjoy morning coffee while watching the sun rise over the adjacent ridge. The neighborhood was conveniently located in town and really quiet. Truly a minor complaint in the grand scheme of a great rental house, but there was no shampoo provided, which surprised me. I'd highly recommend this VRBO.
