"I would book here again for sure. The property is large and private. The caretaker Danny was amazing! He is helpful and knows the property very well. My family and friend had so much fun walking the trail grounds and watching the animals. The house is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The host was very accommodating and responsive."

"The house is just beautiful and Tania is such a wonderful host. Best sleep in years. This is the kind of place that reminds you of weekends away at some relatives huge house in the middle of nowhere (yet close to the city) where all you do is relax, read books and play board games. Lunches on the veranda were just stunning and drinking coffee in front of the fireplace on the chilly mornings even more so. Thank you Tania, the stay was amazing!"

"You instantly relax when you arrive here. The view, the harbour, the quiet and the serenity are perfect for a getaway. Helene was responsive with all our requests, including being able to bring our two small dogs on holiday with us. This holiday home has everything you need, seems larger than what the photos display and was spotlessly clean. We had a family celebration to attend in Pahi on Saturday evening, so explored the wider area from Friday when we arrived. You can walk down the hill onto the local beach before walking at low tide around the point to Pahi itself. It’s like as if time stands still here. We are originally from Tinopai, so drove down for a visit, plus took our friends to the Paparoa Market on Saturday morning, plus the Kauri Museum in Matakohe. Thanks so much for a wonderful mini-break in a very well appointed property. We definitely will be back."
